it was a good experience, our instructor was very friendly and explain everything: I felt very at ease and confident in going in the water. I was just expecting more swimming not just staying still under water.

We did this experience on a recent visit to Sydney. The experience was far better than expected and the two men that were instructing and taking us into the tank were brilliant, informative and patient. initially you recieved a walk around the aquarium which in my case helped build up the unease especially when seeing the size of the sharks and realizing that they are 20 bigger inside the tank. having never scuba dived before this was also part of the thrill and the men took thier time making sure that we were all ok and competent. once in the tank with all the marine life it was fantastic up close the rays, turtles and nursing sharks were enormous, one being 3 1/2 meters long! and yes, I now know that they dont eat humans but they still have shark eyes with big teeth plus very big to make me never want to meet a man eating one. When reading the info I wondered why we only had 30 mins in the tank but after doing this activity with my teeth chattering near the end, I completely understand now, even though we were wearing two suits. the tank is the same temperature as the sea outside. would recommend this to anyone as its once in a lifetime, afterwards you can buy pictures and /or video as you are not able to take in your own camera, admittedly extortionate but it is a one off and all the money went back into the place which it funds itself so can't complain, people waste money on a lot less.

Breathtaking! My sister and I got there early, but don't arrive until 9AM. We are both certified, but they did a little refresher for the couple who was doing it with us. The water was freezing! Even with all the gear, rashguard, and shortie, and 6 mm. The animals are HUGE! Will recommend to everyone!

It was extremely exciting and even if arrive a bit early then you can look at the Fairy Penguins, other marine life in small tanks. The big event at this place is the sharks and there is a tunnel for people to watch when you are diving. My son a novice diver enjoyed this event and the others who were nervous with us enjoyed it too. The certified divers taking you on the adventure are really great and knowledgeable as they are marine biologists who work with the sharks/turtles, etc.

This was without a doubt one of the best experiences of my life! I dove about two weeks ago with dive instructor Laurie, and everything was flawless! I felt completely educated, safe, and like a total daredevil, all at the same time. I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone with a sense of adventure!!! Worth every penny!

Unable to have this experience because of a medical condition. However, Viator gave us a full refund! The Sea Life Sanctuary is a great facility, so we still enjoyed viewing the sea animals. And the staff was great--friendly and lots of energy.

Staff very friendly, and clearly cared about the animals. Son 19 doing the dive was confident in the water, and was the only one doing the dive at the early time. A lot of time spent underwater with the sharks extremely close. Much better than the Melbourne Aquarium.
