When I checked in to get my ticket I was given an additional 24 hrs to make a 48 hr ticket which was a special, however, since I was leaving before then that was not of any use to me. The biggest complaint is that when I got on the bus later there was very little tour information before we became stalled in traffic. The direction was changed and then a short time later we had to change busses without a tour guide. Then we stopped at the curb and was waiting for a while before being told that someone had left her ticket and we were waiting for it to be picked up. During this time the temperature was becoming colder and the bus was extremely cold. Finally, we began moving not being given any information and after a period of time I asked the driver if we were near the Westminister Abbey and was told it was the next stop. I wanted off of the cold informationless bus so got off and returned to my hotel. I did not return to the bus that day nor the next.

Always enjoy a good hop-on hop-off and this was excellent. The buses were around frequently and hit every place we wanted to go. It was a bit chilly but the downstairs provided a break from the cold open air of the double-decker. They were running a special too, so we got 48 hours for the price of the 24 we paid for. A perfect way to get around the city AND see the sights!

It was a really good tour and you can hop on hop off as many times as you like. The only negative was when we went to London Bridge to get our tickets the staff issuing the tickets were rude and it was such an effort to get help
