Was recommended this restaurant and had a nice meal. Lovely setting with quick service. Steak and frites were nice but nothing special, it was very cheap so can understand why. Got busy as the evening went on and a couple joined our table which was different. Luckily got there early so didn't have to queue for a table.

Terrible place. It was recommended by a tour guide. Upon arrival, there was a long line that spanned around the corner of the building so our group thought it would be good. The place was busy and they crammed people inside as if we were sharing a table with the group next to us. The food was terrible. Photo of the beef stew below which was mostly beef fat and hardly any meat. It was terrible with little to no flavor. My two friends ordered sirloin steak but the waiter informed them that they ran out and they could order the rump steak instead which they did....BUT we watched other tables around us were able to order sirloin streak; including the table next to us. Perhaps it’s because they’re French and we were tourists? My other friend ordered the veal. Her veal was RAW. It was not rare....straight up raw! I’ve been to Paris before and always told my friends that you can’t get a bad meal in Paris. Well my friends, apparently you can. The only good thing at this place was the chocolate mousse. We all couldn’t wait to get out of there. Please please please don’t waste your time with this place. There are so many other better restaurants in Paris within the same price range.

The most over rated restaurant in Paris. Cheap but awful. This restaurant is only popular as it’s cheap and open very late. Some good reviews for this place from people whom have obviously never experienced fine dining before or came in after drinking. The busy atmosphere is the only positive thing about this place. The food arrived within minutes of ordering; obviously as it has already been cooked & left to dry out. The avocado & shrimp cocktail is a total joke. It’s simply an avocado with the stone removed and a dollop of seafood sauce. The terrine is served as a dry slab. Roast chicken was over cooked & the chips were not fresh. Potatoes served with fish were very plain & unseasoned. See the photos, judge for yourself.

Great food, quick and not expensive. You may well share a table with another couple or family as you would on a cruise or in some hotels. Waiters are swift, efficient and incredibly polite. Go before 7pm if you don't want to wait in line, they do not take bookings. Highly recommended. Our favourite bit was when they added the bill up on our table cloth!

Wonderful place to feed all the family at reasonable rates while in the centre of Paris. Menu is varied with something for everyone and the speed of service is the fastest that I've ever experienced. While the tables are shared and covered with paper cloth, the quality of food and dining experience is second to none. Snails on the menu were the highlight for the kids. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Traditional French restaurant with lots of authentic French food. The beautiful traditional decoration puts a nice touch to the dining experience. The staffs are very helpful and speak English. The price is very reasonable for this type of restaurant. Can be crowded sometimes but the atmosphere inside the restaurant is very enjoyable.

This place is almost like a French Buffet. Most of the food comes out quickly and they keep a running total of all the food you order on the table cloth. The service is very Swift and entertaining. The atmosphere is great though. The food quality is average at best but you aren't coming for mind blowing food. You come here for fast food at a cheap price.

Me and my companion came to this restaurant because it was highly recommended. Luckily we got in before there was a long line out the door and all the way to the street. We were seated right away. We were able to order our entrees, main dishes, and drinks all at once and things were brought out quickly. The food was really not that great... The french fries which came with the meal tasted really cardboardy and as if they had been previously frozen. The meat was not well seasoned and neither were the fries so they didn't have much taste to them. The saving grace was the chocolate mouse which was very smooth and delicious. The service there was good considering the restaurant was incredibly busy, but still took a while to get the check in the end.

This is an institution. The place is gorgeous. The food is good, the staff friendly. The prices are correct, unlike the many tourist traps in Paris. You might be seated next to other people, which is not a problem for us at all. Great dining experience every time :)

Touristy, busy place but serves as an institution. Food serves quick and is of good quality. Small but traditional french dishes for moderate prices.

We went at 8.30 pm. The line was quickly but when we got a table the waiter was unpleasant. Moreover, they didn’t have two of the most famous dishes. Very rude staff.
