What a great way to learn the city of Munich! Keith, our tour guide was fantastic and passionate about the city. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a flavor for the city and culture. TIP: I'd book this tour at the beginning of your trip so that you know all the best sites/places early on.

Verena was great! Finding the starting point was very easy, and our tour was taken at a leisurely pace, stopping at the major attractions: the Landgericht court building, underground shopping mall at Karlsplatz Stachus inc how it got it's name, the old city gate, old town, town hall Rathaus with its famous glockenspiel, the relics in St Peters Church, the good eating and market stalls in the Viktualienmarkt and the significance of the May Day pole, hofbrauhuas, Residenz, and ending at Odeonsplatz and it's interesting role in the rise of the Nazi party. Verena was awesome at answering all our questions about Bavarian life and history including the scars from WW2. Very worthwhile happy I went.

We had a great tour with Dan. As a native of Munich, his depth of knowledge was outstanding. It was not just a recitation of facts, he made the history come alive, and we felt like Munich insiders by the end of the tour. Set us up for a successful and memorable remainder of our visit. i highly suggest starting a Munich visit with this tour.

This tour was fantastic, a great way to orient yourself with the city. I don't think we would have gotten nearly as much out of the rest of our trip without it. Ours was given by Jake, and he was both hilarious and extremely knowledgable about Munich's history. He definitely kept us busy with jokes and historical stories about all the major city high points the whole time - KeepItSexy, as Jake would say about history.
