Lovely Tour. Well organised. Long walk uphill is required in Winter season as shuttle service does not work and long queues for horse carriage. Many steps in Neuschwanstien castle. Timing is rather exact and crammed and needs to be increased by half an hour.

A MUST do, recommend doing the tour of the castles, both are 30mins long. Be parepared to walk 1.6km up hill going to Neuschwanstein. There is a horse and cart but the lines can be long. We enjoyed the walk up hill. There are also steps leading to the levels of Neuschwanstein. Well worth the money, meet people from different countries and a very enjoyable day out for our family.

This was a very nice tour from Linderhof to Oberammergau to Neuschwanstein. Beautiful scenery, interesting history, and truly a great experience - especially during the wintertime, with all the snow! The tour guide was very helpful and the bus ride was comfortable. I just felt that there was not enough time to visit each of the places, most especially in Hohenschwangau, where you have to line up for 30-45 minutes to take a carriage up to Neuschwanstein castle. We could opt to hike up the castle, but we had an infant in our group. We also had to walk from the castle back down to the bus / meeting point which took about 20-30 more minutes. By the time we got back, the bus was ready to leave. And we still had to change our baby's diapers, which we had to do in a hurry. The tour guide was kind enough to allow us for a few minutes. Overall, it was a great experience.. just a bit constrained with the time, especially if you're travelling with a baby.

Not warned about the large number steps at Neuschwanstein. Bus left without us. Long lines for the carriage back to the bus.

Good tour but a bit deceiving. Never was there mention that in the winter there is a 1-mile uphill climb to Neuschwanstein in the snow and ice. Linderhof was a do-able trek, and well worth the trip, and the too-brief stop in Oberammergau was nice - would have liked to have had more time in that enchanting town where the best prices are as well on gifts and souvenirs!. But if you don't trek up the mountain to the Neuschwanstein Castle you are stuck in a small area with overpriced souvenir shops for four hours. It was a beautiful drive, and the tour guide was very informative - but if you do this tour - get ready for some heavy-duty walking!

The castles are great, the view and all the interior are worth to visit. However, the tour arrangement is poor, we were on time Tour start at 08:30, we arrive at 08:10 to the meet up point, there are no seat for the English bus, were pushed to a multi languages bus. The tour guide had no arrangement on the bus, the single travelers occupied most of the window seats, couples were separated. I was quite surprised that we had booked this tour few weeks in advance and got such poor arrangement. I may suggest you to let people choose languages when they book the tour. And I think the main reason why the bus is so packed is because the tour is still accepting ad hoc join in at the meet up point. The whole tour is super rush, for the Linderhof, the guided tour is ended at around XX:25 and the tour guide gave us only 4 mins to walk back to the bus, as we have elderly with us, this is totally impossible. We also have to skip lunch to make sure we can walk up / wait for the carriage to Neuschwanstein. The tour is too rush and the guide is not very friendly.
