We are cynical old whatsits but this was a brilliant night...we learnt loads about Irish trad music. The guides who were musicians were informative, funny and totally what you'd expect. It was a grand craic and a real laugh.

Tremendously enjoyed this tour. We listened to traditional Irish ballads, learned about Irish instruments and learned about the importance of pub gathering and Irish music for a full three hours. We started in Oliver St.John Gogertys pub and walked as a group to two other pubs. These pubs were not tourist pubs, but places where locals meet friends, listen to traditional Irish music and drink their Guinness! The two musicians were excellent in their story telling, their selection of Irish music and their warmth in being with us! Highly recommend this tour to for an incredible three hours to feel the genuine Irish openness and welcome through music, storytelling and a little history.

Cool stories related to the music, and the atmosphere is very fun and relaxed, especially after a few pints. Would highly recommend for anyone who is at all interested in music and a genuine experience

This tour had so many people going on it we left the group early. The musicians were trying to herd about 30 people from pub to pub and it was just too many people. The pubs were already crowded as well and it was extremely difficult to hear anything they were sharing about Ireland and the music they were playing. They need to limit the number of participants to make this a good experience.

I expected to go to 3 different pubs with 3 different bands. I expected to be in the main pub area with other locals and tourists. Instead we were taken by the same 2 musicians to the upstairs vacant room of some building. The building smelled of stale liquor and smoke. I put musicians in quotes because there were a lot of errors in the squeezebox playing. And I only heard jigs and reels, no ballads. I grew up with Irish music, I can dance jigs and reels. This was very disappointing. Just go to a pub in the Templebar area. It will be more fun! In fairness we did not stay long and did just that.
