Peccato...

We had a lot of pizza in Florence, and then in Rome and Naples. This place was still my favourite with their wholemeal dough. I can't remember the pizza name but there was tomato, chorizo and a big blob of mozzarella in the middle. Damn it was good!

Very cute place with organic pasta and affordable menu. The place was very hot especially since the kitchen was not separated from the tables which is a nice idea but ended up making the place extremely hot. The pasta was good but nothing special, worth the price though. Overall I had a nice experience just wish it wasn’t so hot and maybe would have enjoyed better if I had ordered something more interesting than the tomato basil pasta

Excellent pasta! Sitting next to the kitchen was a bit warm but the food made it worth it. If the pizza is 1/2 as good as the pasta, then worth the wait. Make a reservation! Ok. 2 days later, back for pizza. Pretty good - whole wheat crust. 4 stars for the pizza. The pasta side is better. Lots of salami (looked like sausage) on the pizza. Others got the zucchini and the mushroom sausage pizza. No one could eat it all. Come hungry! Crust is thicker than expected but good!

Delicious pasta. You should definitely try the ones with truffle. The portions of the desserts are very small but they are tasty as well. The ambience and the presentation of dishes are all of a good taste although it is quite a casual restaurant. The prices are agreeable. The staff is very sweet and down to earth.

I think I saw another review somewhere else that said this was a knock your socks off type of establishment. The restaurant is split in half, with a pizza side and a pasta side. We opted for the pizza and were not disappointed. We shared a pizza, eggplant parmesan and a mixed green salad. Everything was so fresh and well made. The place gets busy so come with those expectations in mind. We also had wine, sparkling water, tiramisu and an espresso. All for 40 EUR. Amazing deal in our opinion for one of the best restaurants we've been to during our time in Italy.

There are many pizzeria in Italy, having visit for the past week nothing have rocked my socks. Simbiosi was one of them, not that it was packed with people but it had great service, friendly staff and awesome pizza. They make it from scratch using the most authentic method, a traditional pizza oven. Great selection of food, wine and beers. They serve pasta too but didn't have space in the stomach to try. It's worth trying and do make a reservation else you would be waiting for at least a while to get a spot.

I hesitate to leave a 5 star review because I live part-time in Florence and do not wish this wonderful restaurant to be flooded with tourists. Both the pizza restaurant and the pasta (and more) restaurant next door have fabulous food at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is smart and casual. Without going into great detail, you will get sone of the best pizza and pasta dishes in Florence. You will not be disappointed.

One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten - and it's organic! One can tell that there's quality in the produce they use. The place is very cozy and the music is always great too. The pizza maker was very friendly and the whole place has a very nice feeling. I was there a year and a half ago and came back to this same place because it had really made an impression on me.

This restaurant is two parts: one half specializes in pasta, and the other half specializes in pizza. We only got to try the pasta. The decor inside is a lot of exposed brick, with a shabby-chic vibe as well as these strange animal portraits on the wall. There are some small tables as well as a much larger communal table right when you walk in. We ordered the pumpkin macaroni, the pappardelle with wild boar, balsamic sliced beef, and pork tenderloin. Both of the pastas were great, the pumpkin sauce was fresh tasting and both pastas were cooked perfectly. The wild boar was a little tough, but still tasty. The sliced beef turned out to be more like stewed beef, which was kind of stringy and tough. The pork tenderloin was pretty soft and the beetroot sauce that came with it was surprisingly good. Overall, great pasta and okay service! The only thing I do not recommend is the balsamic sliced beef. Hopefully the pizza part of the restaurant is just as good.
