Visited Gusto for aperitivo.Nice people, nice choices of apperitivos and wines, and big buffet with different things every 15 minutes.Worth a visit! Not a tourist bar.

The place is amazing, it has a great atmosphere and you can either dine at the restaurant or at the pizzeria which is outside in a portico. I had dinner with friends at the pizzeria, the best pizzas I tried in Rome. We each ordered one whole pizza, they are not too big , perfect for one.

Saturday brunch was oustanding (20€pp, on the pizzeria side.) plenty of variety and new dishes continued to be brought out throughout our visit. Staff were friendly and helpful, clearly enjoying their craft. Cannot recall a better brunch experience overall; couples and families alike seemingly enjoyed.

*return the water & bread basket they charge 7€ for it * Went here on a recommendation and as many have said, they charge you for the bread basket & water that they simply put on the table when you sit down. It's shocking and sad that you would serve & charge for something that you would put on the table without the guest ordering it. This cost us 7 euros itself. That's not a cheap amount. The food was nice but nothing spectacular, it is expensive. The service was decent, mostly just doing there job, no one went out of there way for service. They then charged us a hefty service charge.

Pros: Food was good (had the salmon wok), salmon tasted fresh and was cooked very well. Being noodles it was very salty, to be expected however. Service was good from some staff, not all. Cons: Expensive meals, we saw it on a 'cheap' list and were very disappointed. Most of our meals were under €20 (pizza and pasta usually being €6-10 euros each) so only brought €30 with us to find that most of the menu was between €15-30. So we got 1 main to share for €17, yet the bill was €24.50 as we were charged for bread we didn't ask for or eat and tap water, yes TAP water which we weren't told would cost. We were then charged service on top of this. Also the men's toilets had no toilet seats. Overall an additional 50% on top of the price of the meal is simply extortionate, never again. That being said i have heard better things about their pizzeria (a seperate part to the restaurant).

This was the worst experience during our stay in Italy. We had a pasta and it was nothing special and it was salty. The worst thing was service. It was horrible. They charge 10% of service charge but they even don't give us one smile and when we ask something he doesn't say anything just leave and come back and serve without any words. Especially waiter Marko was worst. Over price and horrible service definitely don't recommend.

It was a disappointing experience and cannot recommend this location at all. We ordered a mix cheese and meat platter. I asked to replace the pork thru beef. The waiter brought beef tartar without asking me and confirmed that it is a direct replacement of the pork. This platter was billed separately and obviously it was the most expensive dish. No understanding when I was claiming the bill and senior waiter was arguing with me. They even charge for the bread with 2 EUR, which looked from yesterday. Portions are all too small and quality of food is average. Service is very rude. Overall very poor and disappointing!!

After seeing it recommended I was extremely disappointed both in the portion sizes and price. I have travelled extensively throughout Italy and this is the first time I have walked away feeling completely dissatisfied. The food was below average and make sure you read the fine print on the menu so you are not shocked with the service charge. Was a real shame.

Canadian - first time visiting Rome with my bride of 20 years. Second night out we learned from our previous dinner to order only one appetizer, one pasta and one main. It was plenty for two....perhaps even a bit too much. Gusto's has 4 separate restaurants (Ristonante, Osteria, Wine Bar and Gusto's 28) all under one roof. We sat down at the slightly more casual Osteria. Really cool alley setting with locals hanging out after work. We ordered the grilled cheese (not the kind your Mom made for you) Lasagna, no tomato sauce ...that's the way it is, and a plate of meat balls, and a 24$ bottle of red. We thought they were all very good. All in we spent about 75 euros. Service was friendly. Would recommend the Osteria (traditional Roman food) to anyone visiting the area.

We had a lunch on sunday here. The options were a brunch buffet for 20 euros or the menu which includes italian staples and some burgers. The brunch seemed a bit expensive so we settled fir pizza. The staff was quite nice, even joked around with us. The pizza we ordered arrived promptly and was allright, which is a bit less than what I would expect for the price. All in all, this place is okay considering the prime location and upscale atmosphere.
