Can spaghetti, just had to be. Meatballs were ok. Pizza? Joke. It was sustenance and that's it. Our service was slow while others who ordered alcohol was a bit faster. Sorry hate to be a downer here but gotta pass it along.

I would give this place zero stars if possible. Sat for lunch with my children and parents and tried to order two pizzas, an entree, and drinks. The waiter refused service since the children weren't odering a pizza EACH. This is typical of "high tourist" areas and why restaurants like this give Rome a bad name. Avoid, there are many wonderful choices elsewhere.

Great service! Our kid was acting up (mostly because she was hungry) and we were kinda embarrassed by the periodic tantrums she was throwing. They provided amazing service and even gave us recommendations. Took the time to help us feel welcome and enjoy our experience there. They even helped get our little one in a better mood. =) Ordered 2 pizzas that were wonderful! They also are the first place to give me good spicy food. Most other places here have warned me and served up something rather mild even though I insisted I like things spicy. =)

Food is good with reasonable price but I don't think I will come back to this restaurant due to their poor and irresponsible service. Server missed one order and waited another 30 min to get the prompt response when everyone else was done with their meals. Not only did they misplace the order but billed us double for late order. No explanation was given and I was the one who pointed out the mistake. No apology was shown.

Very delicious pizza. We tasted two different kinds and both was excellent.

We found this restaurant by chance. The waiters were nice and food was good. I ordered fungi pizza and my husband ordered tomato spaghetti. The pizza was tasty but some of you might taste a bit salty. The spaghetti was literally tomato spaghetti. The noodles were very well-cooked unlike other restaurants we've been. The price was just an average.

Food was ok but service staff didn't seem to like patrons asking for ICE- after that "mistake" of mine we where ignored and treated very rudely. ( And by the way if I'm going to pay 32,00 Euro's for lunch and want ice with my drink you should give it to me with a smile)

We ate at La Scaletta and had the best time. Service was wonderful! A young Albanian waitress served us and she was efficient, friendly and fast. The food was fantastic, we all loved our dishes which involved Pizza Diavola, Calzone, Gnocchi and something vegetarian for my wife. We drank wine, beer and the wait staff were so gracious to us, they served us free lemoncello shots after. Talk about La Dolce Vita. Embrace Italy, its culture, let go of your nationalistic pride, have fun, enjoy the culture and air and Italy/Rome will embrace you too. If you know how and like to have a good time, know how to be friendly and enjoy good food, go to La Scaletta, you'll be treated like a king or queen. And the food is tasty, ignore the haters.
