Two splendid days touring St.Petersburg with our guide Marina and driver Andrew. We saw as much as could be fitted into two days and in a really comfortable manner. Marina was a mine of information, and she was very kind and thoughtful to this passenger an 85-year-old lady. I had booked the Viator tour having done tours with them in the past and cannot speak too highly of them. This tour is really worthwhile.

This 2 day tour was terrific. You got a lot more for your money than you got on any cruise sponsored tour. We were gone on day 1 from 8:45 until 8pm and on the second day from 8 until 5. Skipped lines at many sights, rode hydrofoil to Peterhof Palace and took a canal tour in our own private boat. We had headsets provided so it was easy to hear what Julia was saying. The lunches both days were very good--and certainly plentiful. Our guide Julia was so knowledgeable and personable. Her English was perfect. There can be up to 14 on this tour that is how many fit in their van but we only had 8 and 6 of us were friends. It is especially nice to be in a small group at the Hermitage which is always very crowded. You get a bottle of water each day and they provided us each with a great book showing sights. It was a nice memento. There is a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes. There are blankets on the canal boat in case it is chilly. Almost no time to shop, but the shops at the cruise terminal were plentiful with decent prices.

We were really happy we did this tour. We came in on a ship for 3 nights. I had read ahead and knew if you didn't have a visa you would not be able to wander around the city by yourself. While my shipmates were getting bored on the ship, my husband and I really enjoyed all the sights of St. Petersburg. Our guide Victoria was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. The minibus was great and we spent as much or as little time as we wanted at the various sites. We enjoyed skipping long lines and moved quickly through any crowds. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was an excellent tour, informative and very enjoyable. It seemed to be of an adequate length. The guide, a lady, was knowledgeable, very nice, informed and meticulous. Also with a good command of English. The provided lunches however leave a lot to be desired. Reasons? As for the driver, he was not at all involved and when I tipped him properly, he did not even looked at me nor did he acknowledge the gesture. I regretted tipping him. Clearing the costume on the first day was a bit trouble, and chaotic. One has to endure the slow process however. Good job Viator!

take this tour... it's all worth it! And when it says visa-free, it is visa -free. We had MARINA as our tour director... she is excellent! We were so LUCKY to have her... she is a seasoned tour guide,a local, very knowlegeable and on top of the game. If you could only request, for a tour guide ....I would strongly suggest, her. Lunches were included in this tour, and it was quite an experience... The venues, the food will pleasantly surprise you...take this tour and you'll find out!
