Giralda Bell Tower: the marvelous bell tower of Seville Cathedral, as well as city's most well-known symbol. Giralda became a UNESCO World heritage Site in 1987. The tower is 104 meters tall. It was originally built as a mosque tower during the Almohad dynasty reign.

Real Alcazar: a royal palace in Seville. It is the oldest royal palace in Europe that is still active. The palace dates back to 14th century when Peter the Cruel established the royal residence.

Palacio Arzobispal: Archbishop's palace of Seville dating back to 12th century, when it housed bishops and archbishops, numerous nobleman and military figures. Today it contains paintings and sculptures from the Seville Baroque period.

The beautiful historic neighborhood allows you to experience the real Seville and its atmosphere. So you can also just walking around the streets of Santa Cruz and enjoying the architecture.

Discover the local Spanish visual art at Museum of Fine Arts of Seville. Of particular highlight are the art-works from 17th century, by Murillo, Zurbaran and many more.

For a Spanish flamenco experience visit the Triana district, one of the birthplaces of the genre. Pay also a visit to Museo del Baile Flamenco in Santa Cruz, which exhibits the origins and development of flamenco, as well as stages performances. With some interactive exhibits the museum is one of the most technologically advanced all over Spain.

Appreciate also the panoramic views of the city from the heights of Torre del Oro, or the Tower of Gold, is one of the most important and iconic monuments of Seville city.

Best time of the year to plan your trip to Seville is from September to November and March to May. The summer temperature which reaches 40 °C at times decreases in autumn. If you are interested in religious sceneries visit during Semana Santa (Holy Week) . If you love to party don’t miss Seville’s Feria de Abril, in April obviously. The city comes alive with 6 days of singing and dancing. For a flamenco experience visit during Bienal de Flamenco, in September on even years.

Plaza de Espana
