Hong Kong Disneyland

Lantau Island, Hong Kong

Hong Kong Disneyland is the Asian edition of the globally known amusement park. It is the smallest of all Disneyland parks, thus the entrance lines are not long, the attractions are very close to each other and it is possible to walk around in a day. The park is comprised of seven themed areas with different restaurants, shops and attractions. It hosts a daytime parade “Flights of fantasy” and a nighttime parade “Paint in the night” and an amazing final nighttime firework. Major holidays like Halloween, Christmas and Chinese New Year are as well celebrated in the Park.
The Disneyland is 30-40 mins drive away from the city center. It can be reached via the specially designed Disneyland Resort Line that departs from Sunny Bay Station. The Long Win Bus and City Bus also provide transfer options.
The entrance ticket prices are 63 USD for an adult and 20 USD for a child. However, food and beverage prices are way more expensive compared to other Disneyland parks.

The best place to go to Disney Land Not over crowded as expected. Was there in August rainy day but didn't bother us.. best part we did almost all the rides, adventure and shows. It was definitely worth the money.. I suggest go there in week days even if it's raining.

This is heaven on earth for kids, for them to see their beloved Disney characters come to live. Some adults might even find it impressive - the designs, decorations and details are intricate and fascinating. To further enhance the experience, mascots move about and take photos with guests albeit long queues and despite the weather. There are many differently themed rides to try and the entire park is enormous.

Hong Kong Disneyland is a bit smaller than its American counterpart but it's really not fair to compare the two. Two days at the resort is really enough time to experience the whole park. The hotel itself is huge but staffed incredibly well and there is always someone around to help you out if necessary. The only issue with the hotel is that they use carpet in the hallways. It may look nice but when you need to lug a bunch of suitcases to your room you don't care how much the floor looks, just how much its dragging down the wheels.

Very small, very crowded. Mini Disneyland... basically it copies the one in California. However, less attractions. You can do it in one day. Oh some rides are called different things... but the ride itself is the same. I had to go because I love Disneyland. If you had to pick...then just go to the one on California- it's way better!!!

How can you not give Disney 5 stars? It wasn't that crowded and it was nice being nestled in the mountains. I wish they had a few more characters wandering around and wish they respected us 7 dwarfs more!! Especially since my name is Happy.

One of the best theme parks I have ever visited. You can enjoy for 6 to 7 hours without getting bored. There are a lot of amusement rides. The rides and gardens are well maintained. There are rights for every age group, be it children or adults. Had a great time with my family in Disneyland!!!

Got the year p Gold pass and not much people in week days. The place is very good and fun. With year pass, I don't have to stress out myself to play all rides. So I can relax and enjoy the rides and take my time. The shops and food are good too.

Disney is a worldwide brand and this park is a beautiful addition. The hotels are fabulous and the service is equal to any of the best in the world. The restaurants have a varied menu but you are sure to find many things that you will love. The park is very clean and offers a lot of familiar Disney rides and amenities. Hong Kong Disney is an awesome family stop on any trip to Asia. Enjoy!!

Fabulous place. A place worth enjoying for not only for kids but adult as well. There is a toy train, fabulous rides and shows. Many a picture perfect places you can find there. The whole place is fragmented into different categories and you can choose the one depending on your like. Tip: Book tickets online as it will be cheaper. Also, if time permits, you can take two day tickets. There is a resort inside. Live there if your pocket allows to enjoy this place at the fullest.

It's not as big as Orlando, but still good enough for a family day. It's well connected by metro(MTR). The resort line metro is designed to already put you in good mood, even before one reaches Disneyland. Fantasy land is particularly fun for kids. One negative is that there aren't enough remember-your-angels kind of rides, but it's probably in expansion phase, so maybe in the future it should be a thrilling place for adults too.

City Hall has a currency exchange and the clinic behind the corner cafe on Main Street gives free Tylenol if you get a headache.

WiFi is spotty, be careful the constant trying to connect will drain your battery quickly. Better to bring an extra battery if you don’t use 4G data.
