Historic Centre of Macau

Macau Peninsula

4.5

Historic Centre of Macao is a group of more than 20 locations that proves the existence of Portuguese and Chinese cultures next to each other during a long period of time in Macau. It includes a mixture of the cultural and architectural heritages, such as squares, streetscapes, churches and temples both with Chinese and Portuguese features. In 2005 The historic center became a part of the UNESCO heritage list. The importance of the Centre lies in the fact, that it’s not only a mixture of 2 countries’ cultures, but also the mixture of East and West, and of Europe and Asia.

Went there with a few friends to watch a movie. Really good place to chill at night as it’s really quiet and tho the shops are closed , the cafe near the movie theatre is quite good. Watched mission impossible: fallout there, ~$12 usd per person for 3D movie. Really cheap with a huge screen.

Bungee of the Tower is a unique experience. Movie theater inside, basketball courts outside, parking underneath. Also has a great event space, meetings, weddings, conventions, etc

At one point of time it was the world's tallest building, though it has lost that title but it still is iconic. It offers a breathtaking view of Macau. The view alone is worth the trip. It offers the world's highest bungee jump (certainly not for the faint hearted), even the sky walk can test one's nerves. There's also a mall, good eateries and a theater to keep the non adventurous entertained. Getting there isn't difficult either. Best time to visit would be afternoon if one plans to bungee jump, so that afterwards they can enjoy the twilight. A must visit in Macau.

Another interesting place to see in Macau. Watching the bungee jumping was quite entertaining. I loved how far you can see from up there. I only wish we could have sat down to enjoy a beverage. The restaurant was reserved for buffet only.

It's thrilling to watch someone jump off the edge of the building. Great view for taking pictures. Must see, if you're not deathly afraid of heights. :)

Nice overview of Macau from the top. Price is ok, around 150 M$/H$. There is a cafe/restaurant one deck higher. Very nice and unique is the the possibility of making bungee jumping or climbing the tower to the top or outside walk for much higher price (Special prices before 12:00).

Very expensive place but it is safe and has an excellent view. The place offers bungee jumping, tower climbing, sky waking. It is an amazing experience, they give you photos and free shirts. Wood recommend

Great tower which gives a great 360 view. Several crazy activities are offered at the top of the Tower. E. g. bungee jumping or taking a walk at the edge outside. There is a shopping mall at the foot of the Tower - however nothing special. All in all a must see of Macao!
