Palma Real Shopping Village

Avenida Alemania 57, Punta Cana

3.5

Palma Real Shopping Village is a collection of international retail and commercial brands under one roof. It’s the main shopping area in the Dominican Republic. It includes such brands as US Polo, Guess, Puma, Desigual, Pandora and Prada. But the concept of the Shopping Village is not limited by the brand shops. It's a huge complex with banks, cinema, hypermarket, restaurants, and tens of services like currency exchange and cellphone services. The large diversity of cuisine contains dishes from China, Italia, United Arab Emirates and America.
Most resorts in Punta Cana provide buses to and from the shopping village. Note, that not every shop accepts credit card, so it’s better to have cash.

Popular Bank is available 9-4pm branch hours for withdrawing foreign currencies, plus a clean grocery store with everything you can imagine. Great prices, first stop after dropping into Punta Cana. Cheapest place for bottled water we found (7.6L for less than 1USD).

It's a very nice place for tourists, chopping there is local produce, and hand made printing and souvenirs made in Dominican Republic if you stay at palma real hotel resort, it's the best occasion to buy some chips gift for your family or friends.

For jewelry in punta Cana. Go to Harrison's in the mall. Fodors has rated this store. Great customer service.

Mostly touristic shops with high prices. Nothing useful really. ATM is useful and there is a big supermarket with great variety of products and food. Note that Hard Rock doesn't offer the restaurant anymore!

Palma real is a nice, open, & airy mall but it's not very lively. A lot of the shops aren't there yet or didn't have a lot of foot traffic. There was a decent assortment of stores. If any tourists are looking for a safe ATM the bank at the far end is a great way to access your cash, it will be in RD!

Where are all the stores it says are here? They really need to update the online mall map. Very deceiving. We came here for a little shopping and to eat at The Hard Rock Cafe...only thing is, its no longer there. What shops were there was no different than we have at home in Canada and more expensive. We decided to eat at the Outback Steakhouse restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and the appetisers were good. I had the Outback Burger, it was a undercooked frozen patty...needless to say not the best. My GF had the wrap and said it was just ok, her sister had the 9 oz steak, asked for medium well and got a rare steak. Needless to say not worth the 5500 pesos. I would say if you are really bored and have absolutely nothing else to do its ok, otherwise dont waste your time...especially if it costs you $50 return for a cab ride.

It is nice looking, but not one restaurant or store that interested me.

Very nice. A number of empty stores. Some chain stores but also local products.

Compared to the options available in the area its quite a nice place - has 2 restaurants, some clothes, souvenirs & tabacco shops and supermarket. It stays quite empty.
