Tiran Island

Tiran is an island in Saudi Arabia, which connects Red Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. The area of the island is about 80 square kilometres. The island has a great political importance. For many years it served as a residential area for military forces. It is a negotiation point for Egypt, Jordan and Israel.
Tiran island is considered to be a diver’s paradise, as it is famous for its pure waters and rich marine world. The boat excursions are also popular among tourists. The soft climate of the island and amazing flora makes it one of the most visited sites in Sharm el-Sheikh. The island also has great beaches, so the visitors can spend a whole day there.

    Были в 2015 году в феврале. Очень красивый риф у этого отеля, персонал был вежлив, сперва проверили нас на вредность, а после заселили в шикарный номер. Еда вкусная, территория очень красивая. Т.к. отель находится на 2й линии, каждые 30 минут ходит автобус, но мы чаще ходили пешком. Еда была вполне разнообразной, свежей и вкусной. Фруктов было не достаточно, но мы покупали в других местах.

    Nice big hotel. Food tastes ok but there was no variety as the same sort of food was served every day. Staff are helpful and friendly. Lots to do inside the hotel and the animation team put on good shows throughout the day. I would recommend this hotel.

    Многие недолюбливают Лагуну: говорят, что пустовато, мало живности. А мне нравится этот дайв-сайт, хотя тут холоднее, чем в Рас Мохамед или даже на локал сайтах в пределах Шарма.

    Много скатов, немо, муренок. Очень светло и классно для фотографирования. Песчаное дно вокруг рифа. Походите пешком..;)

    Место массового макания интры на Тиране. Для дайверов может быть интересная внешняя часть рифа.
