Description

The Luxembourg Gardens is a landscaped park. It is a recreational and relaxation area. The place is overgrown with trees, boasting walkways, lush greenery and outstanding works of art everywhere.

The park comprises French and English style gardens and has many works of art (fountains, sculptures, grottoes...) and floral and herbal arrangements. The place is tranquil, offering respite of the city and its traffic in a verdant environment.

The Luxembourg Gardens are ideal both for the children and the adults. Children can entertain themselves in a number of ways, including riding the city’s oldest carousel, sailing small boats or attending a puppet show. The adults can relax in a beautiful setting and observe works of art.

The place is especially beautiful in summer, with the verdant greenery, and in autumn, when warm colors are prevalent.

The Luxembourg Gardens are near the center of Paris. They are open from early hours until evening. You can find the gardens next to the Pantheon, in the vicinity of the Latin Quarter.
