Seine River

The Seine River flows through Paris. It bisects the city, dividing it into northern and southern parts. Major historic buildings and attractions line the river, including the Louvre, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Eiffel Tower. There are two islands (Ile de la Cite and Ile Saint Louis) in the city center, too.

The Seine River is one of the main thoroughfares of the French capital. Numerous cruisers, water buses and other vessels sail in both directions, and you can find cafes and restaurants on the water and ashore. Around 40 bridges span the river, many of which you can see during the cruise.

You can enjoy the Seine River the most in summer and during the evening, when the city lights illuminate the landmarks, nearby streets and bridges.

Take an evening cruise to enjoy the lights of Paris and a romantic dinner. You can also take part in a dance party, taking place somewhere along the Left Bank. Additionally, don't miss street performances at night, next to the Notre Dame Cathedral.
