The town hall is a marvellous building. Its main tower is equipped with a nice carillon which turns while producing music in some moments of the day. Visiting the internal yard and the inside of the building is recommended.

We can walk inside to see the internal architecture for free. At the level 4, ticket of EUR3 per adult to take the lift up to the top and absolutely worth it. Amazing scenery at the top, just a bit windy and freezing.

The architecture is beautiful. View from the top is wonderful. But my favorite part, my favorite part was watching 500 people wait for the glockenspiel, not knowing that it doesn't work in the winter. It only works at 11am in the winter. Absolutely. Worth it.

The New Town Hall is a town hall at the northern part of Marienplatz in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It hosts the city government including the city council, offices of the mayors and part of the administration. In 1874 the municipality had left the Old Town Hall for its new domicile.
