A place where often sporting events are held and where you will always find someone jogging, riding a bike or taking a walk. You can see it is old but it still looks beautiful. In the Olympiaturm you can also pay for the elevator ride up to a fancy restaurant or just to take some pictures, and it standing at a pretty bight height gives me the impression it has a beautiful view on the city. Whether you like to go for a jog, want to take your dog out for a walk or are going to enjoy some sport activities with friends or loved ones, this is the place to be.

Great place to spend a day. There is a small hill climb nearby which gives you beautiful views at the top. Make sure you go there too

We visited here as part of a "hop on hop off" bus tour of Munich. The tower was definitely worth the visit. It let us view all the way to the Alps and all over the city and surrounding area. At the viewing floor in top was a nice little Rock and Roll museum. They even had Freddie Mercury's trousers! There is a revolving restaurant at the too which we did not have time to see. But the rest of the park was kind of sad.....abandoned buildings such as the natatorium.

Olympiapark is stunning during the winter! I had been to the summer tollwood festival shortly after I first arrived to Germany and it was beautiful. Luckily we were able to experience this on a fairly sunny and warmer winter day (Christmas this year 2017.) We visited the broadcasting tower and went all the way to the top. For 7€ you really cannot pass it up. It is a wonderful sight and then visiting the man made hills that are on the other side of the tower and you can take a picture on the tallest hill with the tower behind you. Absolutely wonderful and beautiful site to see and walk around.
