Gardens by the Bay

18 Marina Gardens Drive, Singapore

4.5

Gardens by the Bay is a nature park spanning 101 hectares (250 acres) of reclaimed land in central Singapore, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden. The largest of the gardens is Bay South Garden at 54 hectares. Bay Central Garden stands with a 3-kilometre waterfront promenade that allows for scenic walks stretching from the city centre to the east of Singapore. Bay East Garden is designed as a series of large tropical leaf-shaped gardens, each with its own specific landscaping design, character and theme. It provides visitors with an unobstructed view of the city skyline. The stated aim is to raise the quality of life by enhancing greenery and flora in the city. Gardens by the Bay was intended to be Singapore's premier urban outdoor recreation space, and a national icon. The tickets cost $28 for adults and $12 for children.

I love Gardens by the Bay! It’s a place where you will find beautiful flowers, architecture and decorations! I have been here many times through out the spans of 3-4 years and it never gets old! There are always new theme/festivals that they arrange different things through out the year. Most places can be accessed without fee. Of course fee will be applied if you want to go in the flower dome. I recommend to visit there around 3 or 4pm to walk around the places including visiting the dome and end at the Super Tree after sunset so you can catch them when the lights are on

Man oh man, this place is an exquisite place to enjoy man-made beauty. This place had an incredible array of beautiful things perfectly manicured with an exceptional eye for small details. It truly takes a very large team of dedicated individuals to keep a place so pristine and clean. We enjoyed every moment here. We enjoyed the Cloud Forest more than Flower Dome because there just seemed to be so much more variety. Have at least a few hours to spend here.

Everything that you hear about this place is true. It is probably the most breathtaking experience in Singapore. It is like stepping in the future, and with the hope that the future will be as clean and well taken care of. The planning behind this massive park was absolutely fantastic, and everything about it makes it for a unique experience. If you have time (or budget) for only one attraction, the Cloud Dome is a must. It is absolutely wonderful, with misting happening every two hours starting at 10am. Also, make sure to attend one of the light shows right under the big tree; they have two shows daily, starting at 7:45pm.

This place is just beautiful! A free day out to walk out and enjoy all of the nature. Lots of interesting plants and flowers along with the amazing and famous super trees. These trees display a fantastic night light show which comes on at 7:45pm and 8:45pm. The bay also has to offer a few paid attractions including the flower dome and the cloud Forrest which is home to the tallest indoor waterfall in the world.

Garden By The Bay felt like a glimpse of “Eden and Eve Garden” The whole place are incredible! It’s a heaven for plant lovers and I am one of them. There are thousands different species of plants and flowers to watch and study. Probably the best botanic garden that I have ever been. It’s breathtaking experienced. Highly recommended to visit.

Gardens by the bay is spectacular. A must for out of town visitors it is great for the whole family with lots for children to do and learn I would highly recommend staying all day or returning in the evening as the light show at night is fantastic like a plant firework show!! They have themed music and light shows which incorporates children dancers very magical. Easy to get to via public transport. Food and bathrooms available. Lots to see in doors and out with water features sculpture and most importantly the plant life

Such a fun experience and very easy to get to via public transport. Free entry but you do need to pay for particular experiences. There are plenty of restaurants to chose from and not to expensive. Plenty of quite areas where you can stop and chill out. Didn’t get to see it at night but I think it would of been spectacular. The “Cloud” & “Flower” dome are amazing. Highly recommend!!

Nice place to have a picnic and evening time is the best time to hang out in the garden. During afternoon you can plan to visit two Domes 1. Flower dome and 2. Cloud forest. As the name itself says, you going to find a lot of flowers in dome1. You must see how various kind of flowers based on the region they belong to are so beautifully planted and maintained. Man oh man, this place is an exquisite place to enjoy man-made beauty. This place had an incredible array of beautiful things perfectly manicured with an exceptional eye for small details. Gardens by the Bay in Singapore is quite fascinating to see. Though the free areas are quite astonishing with the towering super trees, it is more remarkable to visit the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest which you can access by paying tickets. A little pricey for Filipinos though worth the money if you love flowers and plants. When we got there, the flower dome's feature was Begonias, from the smallest of its species to the Big and colorful ones. The biggest indoor water fall can also be seen inside the Cloud Forest Dome,a spectacular site to behold. Walking in pathways around the 300m high mountain is also to die for experience. Visiting the 2 domes would also witness an architectural feat! Inside the dome is a wide space with no columns and beams.... A should visit when in Singapore.

Live and beautiful flowers and plants inside a huge temperature controlled (cold) chambers. Try the cloud walk inside one of the dome. Outside, there is an Avatar inspired gigantic man made trees.

What a sight. Amazing in day and fabulously lit up at night. Free to see from ground level. Pay to go up these trees. You'll have to also pay for Cloud Forest & Flower Dome.

The Flower Dome is so cool with diversity of species of beautiful flower. Then, the Supertree Grove is the place for people who enjoy taking pictures from above and panorama pictures.
