🤔 Depends on what you like. VERY BIG fish, VERY WEIRD deep-ocean specimens, VERY UGLY eels 😱 Exhibits are limited, building is dated and part of the outdoor areas were closed for upgrading works (July '18). Otherwise, worth a visit if you have the time. Caution: No other attractions in the area - Panwa Cape. I went early (😵 very early) for photos of the Sunrise nearby + breakfast. Open at 8:30 ensures privacy.

Tanks are too small for the larger fish, conditions are filthy. The turtle looked like it was literally crying. Would be easy way to entertain kids that aren't so switched on...basically, save your money.

Maybe this place is not worth a visit for someone familiar to aquariums but because the only one in my city back home is empty, this place is awesome for me. I saw creatures that I never saw before in my life. Wide variety of fishes and other sea organisms. True beauty. Very cheap entry fees makes the visit almost free. The distance from patong was the only buzz here. No regrets

The aquarium itself was okay. The animals are well taken care of and the tanks are clean. The surrounding displays are older and need some work and the lighting could be better. I believe they do good work here just need a face lift in some places.

Nice detour from the sunny and hot beaches. Yes, the tanks seem somewhat on the small side, but the overall look and feel is that the place is well maintained. From my own point of view the biggest negative was the early closing time.

Have had many visits to this place and always good value for money. The attraction is generally well maintained and the research center on site does some great environmental work. Unfortunately there is a shop at the exit which although not too expensive, if you have kids it's hard to avoid shopping for overpriced gifts and snacks.

A bit small compared to the likes of singapore and dubai aquariums but still nice place to bring your kids for couple of hours of fun. Main attraction is the small underwater tunnel inside the place where u can stand below being surrounded by marine life all around you without getting wet.

Nice aquarium. Little small but have all the right things. The turtle pool was close. Nice for children.

We took a cab here and it was a pleasure to kill 2 hours here looking at the sea life and exhibits. The aquarium seems a bit worn. The moving stairs under the largest tank wasn't working, but it was still nice to take a long stroll under the tank. The most notable parts of the aquarium and the sea horses and the giant grouper. Although small, it's relaxed atmosphere was nice. There's also an excellent gift shop before your exit with reasonably prices gifts and snacks. I paid 20 baht for an ice pop.

It is located near the sea side. The ticket is 300bath per entrance for foreigner and half for children below 12. Inside the aquarium has Thailand Pavilion for mermaid show. The show is about the awareness of the human behaviour towards sea environment. More than that it shows about fishes and deep sea creatures.
