Everyone should be a member of the Lincoln Film Society. You get key access to classic and avant garde films. During the film festivals you get exclusive access to some of the best directors across the globe. Students get a reasonable discount.

Great film picks. But get real, the tickets are absurdly expensive. Come back to earth!

Absolutely worth becoming a member at the Film Society if you're a movie lover in NYC. It's a great value on some of the best programming in the city, plus lots of great perks for members like early screenings with talent in attendance.

Superior film programming, Walter Reade Theater has the best projection and sight lines in the city, and the New York Film Festival is among the best in the world. NYC is #blessed.

Great movie venues, interesting retrospectives, and a great variety of festivals. Check out the French film festival each March.

My husband and I attended a Free Summer Talk at the Film Society and were thrilled with our experience. The employees were organized, informative and professional, the theater was wonderful, and we will definitely be back. Glen made our experience one to remember with his generosity and hospitality. I've found a new love in NYC: the Film Society of Lincoln Center. I recently went here to see Belated, a Colombian/Argentinian film part of the LatinBeat Film Festival. First off, the films offered here are provocative, thought-inspiring, intellectual and extremely engaging. Looking for a great documentary, something off the beaten trail...you must check out the films offered at the Film Society of Lincoln Center. What's more, often times the director and/or actor in the film is available after select viewings to answer questions: genius. The Film Society of Lincoln Center truly offers its patrons with a unique and engaging experience. A throwback to my college years when their were screenings on campus and guest speakers.
