River Walk

100 Villita St., San Antonio

Along the edge of San Antonio River lay the River Walk - a number of walks along the banks of the river. The most relaxing place in the entire city, the river walk is a must see once you are in the area. The walkways are adorned with the perfect plants and flowers will make your stroll around the area as pleasant as it can get. The fresh air filling your lungs and the blue sky above your head.

The walkways paralleling this area are flooded with cute coffee shops and cafes to stop by for a fancy drink. The place is a top tourist destination in San Antonio. The city recently renovates the area adding the San Antonio Museum of Art to the area. The River Walk now is spread even closer to downtown opening view to the central city from the Mission Extension.

The Riverwalk is a beautiful place with many shops and restaurants. It's a lively place all day and well into the night. Be careful as you pass people because there are no guard rails along the canal side in most areas and you do not want to end up in the water. I was amazed that I didn't see anyone fall in with kids playing nearby and people staring down at their phones. You will definitely want to take the canal cruise which gives the history of the area.

Great place to shop and take a walk. Very nice view from inside the city. Better to go when it’s not so hot, in the evening or even at night! Very nice restaurants and stores along the way! Great place to go on a romantic night out or spend time with family while only really having to pay for parking.

More beautiful than pictures. Boat ride and background narration ware excellent. The ride was memorable on a summer evening. Some boats offer dinner on the go. I hope that must be an excellent experience ti have fine dinning experience while floating around in the boat.

Didn't get a chance to walk as much as I wanted to but the River Walk area was clean and very pleasant. Took the boat tour which was very nice and educational. I need to find out if there's a ride that takes you the full length of the river. Great day.

Super cool place! Tons of restaurants to choose from. Long walk along the river. Definitely a place you can spend all day at. I would say multiple visits to try all the cool food places & visit all the different stores around the area.

First of all, find a map of the river walk, and take a tour with Go Rio River Tours, because you have to familiarize yourself with the area, or you will be lost like we were on the very first day, for almost 2 hours first looking for a restaurant that was recommended, and again looking for the parking garage after dinner. You can end up in very far places. Lol Day 2 we knew better, and got ourselves a map from a restaurant we had breakfast in.

Beautiful place to visit, especially at the Winter holiday season! Take a boat tour! Otherwise, you don’t see the entire Riverwalk area. The boat tours are guided and very safe. Lovely guides. I found the price quite reasonable. I don’t know why reviewers have stated that the River Walk is pricey. You don’t have to spend a penny to enter the area, and everything one might purchase would be a choice. It’s a wonderful place to visit, and not to be missed!

A must visit place if you are in San Antonio. The complete walk around the river will make you day and would enhance your mood and energy to another level. You will feel like visiting venice. There are also boats and tour around the river which is good experience. You can spent entire evening at this place. There are multiple restaurants to enjoy the food riverside.

Beautifully done. A remarkable place. So serene even with the hustle and bustle of the city. Mad the pleasure of meeting a vary nice park officer by the name of Anthony Ramos. Very personable man and very knowledgeable. Wish I could give him stars individually!

Mr. Lopez and his staff are the best in San Antonio. I was lucky enough to hire him for a DWI case. He got my charges reduced, and gave me a very reasonable price. He's who I would turn to if I ever needed legal help again.

Beautiful walk. I’d recommend visiting around the evening for dinner just before it gets dark so you get to see it light up as it gets darker!
