Amazing place, solid onion rings and fries, and the vegan shake was out of this world! Also had the Impossible Burger, and am a bit of a convert now. It's not 100% a meat burger, but MUCH closer than other veggie based ones I've tried. Presentation and atmosphere are nice, good for a relaxed lunch.

Fun and hip atmosphere with friendly service. I ordered the standard burger with aged cheddar, caramelized onions, lettuce and tomato with special sauce. Burger was cooked to medium as ordered. It was juicy, moist and flavorful. Toppings were fresh and flavorful including the special sauce. My only beef about the burger is - where's the beef? It was barely bigger than a quarter pounder. For 14 bucks I expect more meat. The roll was delicious and almost dominated the sandwich because not enough meat. Overall, it's a great burger and being cheap with the meat kept me from giving 5 stars.

I went here specifically to try the Impossible and Beyond Burgers. I absolutely LOVED the preparation of the Beyond Burger, it was fantastic. The flavours of the ingredients worked really well with the patty which itself was great in taste and texture. I did not like the Impossible Burger - I really did not like the texture, the taste nor the ingredients that they added with it.

I'm not a vegan but decided to try the impossible burger (made of plants). it doesn't taste like meat but it's freaking close! really good! also had some delicious sweet potato fries on the side. it's not cheap, but in NYC nothing is 😅

We are novices at Bareburger, a burger chain differentiated by a very large variety of different meat types and even more choices made from seeds and organic vegetables. Tried a lentil based one with three other ingredients. It was amazingly meet like in taste just mushier consistency. The sweet potatoes were ordered as crispy as possible without burning. The kitchen did it fabulously. This restaurant if now added to out favorites list. August 2018 updates. Returned to try more of the offerings on the menu. We already loved the vegan burger choices. Today, we tried the carrot cake and flourless chocolate cake. Five stars for both. Back to the burgers... THE IMPOSSIBLE BURGER STANDS OUT! We believe that many people would not even be able to tell this is meatless while enjoying it.

My boyfriend and I like to try burger spots and specifically like to see how bison burgers are. I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. Super kind waiters that were very attentive. And my bison burger was bomb. Probably the best I’ve had yet. I always like my burger meats medium rare but some places aren’t great at achieve medium rare. Bareburger did not come to play, it was a perfect medium rare. I also am lactose intolerant and they substituted out the mayo and cheese for their vegan options which I greatly appreciated and they even check in with me about the dairy in the bun to make sure I could still eat it or they would substitute that as well. Ah, so kind and watchful for their customers needs. The burger was delicious, it wasn’t super oily, the bison was super tasty and cooked just right. The sweet potato fries were BOMB. Next time I come to NYC I will be back for sure.

Easily the best burger in town! I live in NY, and I love to try burgers everywhere I go. You get the most choices & the highest quality at Bareburger. All my friends who come visit instantly fall in love with the place. Everybody here is so friendly, the food tastes gr8 & the whole atmosphere is fun!

A great restaurant. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. You can get the impossible burger there which is a vegetarian burger that tastes exactly like meat which is why we went to try it. It's quite busy but still just the right level of noise and a lot of space available. The prices are all good and you can easily add sides such as sweet potato fries and different sauces. In the helps kitchen location so pretty easy to find and I would definitely recommend

Awesome service. Great blend of meat in the burgers. Extremely satisfying but it comes at a cost. But the cost is worth it. Try it.

Great relaxed atmosphere. Fantastic food. Personal favorite appetizer is the pickles & slaw. (The kimchi is so good!) Favorite beer is the American Amber. Update: no more pickles and slaw on the menu!!
