These guys are making the best bagels in the city and, by transitive property, the world. It has been a fun ride looking for the best bagel, but that ride ends here. There's lots of good competition, LOTS. There's so much competition that it's hard to compare one bagel place to another because you forget how good place A was by the time you try place B. Or how place B compares to place Q. For that reason I've repeatedly A/B tested Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee vs the world. I have their bagels once a week and I have bagels from other places on the other days. This isn't a completely scientific comparison since they happen on different days, but it's lasted long enough that I feel fairly confident in its results thus far. While rarely do the "other" bagels disappoint, Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee's are PERFECTION. And perfection needs no relativity. They're big, chewy, flavorful, and have a nice crust. I'd go here everyday if not for proximity, and so my search for equally flawless bagels will, against my will, continue. Maybe someone else out there is making bagels at BB&C's level, and I'll update this review if ever I find them, but, until then, it'll be my weekly Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee bagel that reminds me what perfection truly tastes like.

Outstanding bagels. They've got a nice crust while being chewy and soft on the inside in all the best ways. Had to get another one after I finished my first.

Great bagel joint. The bagels are fantastic and made fresh right there. We went on a Sunday morning about 9am and the line wasnt too bad. By the time we left it reached the door. The fact there was a line definitely indicates that it's a local favorite. They ran out of plain bagels but we waited for a fresh batch and it was worth the short wait. We got plain, cinnamon raisin, everything, egg, and salt bagels. All of them delicious, just what a NY bagel should be. The staff was friendly and helpful and I'm thrilled we were staying close enough to this place for us to find it. We will be back!

Loved this place, so much. Great bagels with locks for breakfast, and their coffee was good too. It was busy, but not too busy, we easily found a table for two. The bagel was great and not about to explode with food, so it was easy to eat. Recommended place.

Probably the best bagel I've ever had. I was only visiting the area, and haven't been back since, but what I miss most is these damn bagels! We got lucky the first time we visited and there was no line. By the time we left the line was out the door. The second time we weren't so lucky and we had to get at the back of a sizable queue. That said, these workers are efficient and cut the line down faster than I would have imagined. Despite the line the wait was minimal. When the bagels are fresh, they are amazing, and the cream cheese they offer is delicious. I have to go for the weird stuff, like bacon buffalo Bleu cheese - no regrets, it was great. Even though the staff clearly wants to keep things moving, they're still friendly and not pushy out impatient if you need a little time to decide. I wish they shipped nationally. I am trying to find a reason to go back again!

Flawless for bagels, it has a variety of flavors. The most famous flavor is cream cheese. I can bet you will never be bored once you enter the shop. Everything should look perfect, but a star deducted comes from the overprice of beverage. Here is coffee which is too low grade and low quality for coffee’ lovers. In addition, beware the pricing policy here, it is a bit tricky. I ordered a set of 3 omelette where the sign said like the price of bagel served together has already included. In fact, it is not!
