This place is not only for fish-lovers! My mum and I hate eating fish, but my dad loves shrimp, but we decided to give it a try anyway, also because we wanted to try this local very much! My fish and chips (one of the few things I like to eat) was great, and so was my mum's hamburger. Everything is (obviously) Forrest Gump-themed, the location is great (if you are lucky enough you can watch Times Square while eating) and our server was very nice!

Iconic, memorable and typically American. Didn't come across as a rip-off as some venues do. The staff were attentive and the food really good. It kept the memories of enjoying the film fresh. Merchandising not as expensive as expected.

I Love Bubba Gump Shrimp! Go with a friend every month or two. Just as flavorful as the New Orleans location (most times squares restaurants serve a watered down version of their recipes to cater to tourists) I Always order the shrimp mac n cheese appetizer and the Shrimp New Orleans with mashed potatoes instead of Jasmin rice. Delicious! Their drinks are also amazing and specialty drinks get a free souvenir glass. Keep your receipt for a light up glass from the gift shop, but don't skip dessert!

Such a great find, overlooking Times Square. The food is wonderful. My family loved it. The restaurant is clean, staff is really personable and friendly, the views are spectacular, and the food is great! We had calamari and the dip to start. My husband had jambalaya for the first time and loved it. I had the shrimp sampler and it was too big for me to finish. The kids loved it, and the Forrest Gump trivia, and we did to.

Not happy about the service. I had to send my appetizer back because it came after our main meal. If your getting 1 of the drinks that come with a shot, don't get it. You get charge separate for the shot. I took a star off for what I had to go through but the food was delicious. I had the French fries with the 4 different find of scrimp. N loved it

We ended up here after a Broadway show around 10pm, no waiting. The place is huge. Although it's a tourist destination ,the prices are okay. The service was super efficient. The food was great and cocktails are delicious! The place seems very organized.

Food was good but not great. Service was the same. And the AC was not working well. Our server told us we were lucky we weren't there the previous week when it was even warmer... and that Management is aware but won't spend the money to fix it. Was not terribly impressed by this.

If you're looking for a friendly environment please stop by Bubba Grumps Shrimp. Sometimes it is best to call ahead to get your seats so there is no waiting time. It makes things run a bit smoother. All the staff was very friendly and helped with everything. They were always asking if we needed anything else. The meal I ordered was shrimp I was told to order it as I love shrimp. It was more then delicious!! I would order again when I return! I really like how they have at the tables license plates that have things on from the movie. I think that was really neat. Makes you think you are in the movie with all the stuff around the place that is from Forest Grump. An Excellent place to stop at!

Not a long wait for a table of 5. We walked in after 9pm wanting seafood and were able to track the wait time through Yelp. Heads up, the waiting area is rather small. This isn't an issue but when it's cold outside, it's cold. No one wants to stand on a busy sidewalk. But anyways.. We were sat at a small both and we're waited on almost immediately. I had the salmon with spinach and white rice. The salmon was big but I received basically one spinach leaf and a spoonful of rice. I was still starving. Compared to the other dishes my friends received. The fried chicken looks amazing. The platters also looked good. Great drink menu. I had a glass of Chardonnay which was great and my friend had some lime/cucumber/mint specialty drink which she loved. Would recommend if you are feeling some seafood or a good burger.

For how busy the area is, we didn’t have to wait much to be seated when we visited this location. I was in a group of 4 so that wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. Our food came out hot and our waiter (though he may have been hungover) was awesome and got very comfortable with us. He was very attentive and checked in on us and was really working his butt off. We went during the summer during dinner time so I was expecting sub-par service and ended up being very impressed. I would recommend going if you’re craving seafood. I always get the Shrimper’s Heaven as it comes with different sauces and fries. Yum!
