Visited Club A Steakhouse this evening for a client dinner based on the excellent ratings. The service and the food did not disappoint. Very attentive, friendly staff. We sat downstairs in the back corner but when I went upstairs to use the restroom I got to see how pretty the decor and lighting upstairs was. Ask for a table upstairs, if you’re able as the ambiance is lovely. The owner of the restaurant greeted us to ensure we were pleased, and even sent over a complementary fruit platter and tray of a few desserts after our meal. Would definitely return, A+ experience.

Club A was fantastic! Service was great by our server and the bartender, and the food was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The owner stopped by a number of times to check on us and wish us a Happy Anniversary, which was very nice. We would recommend Club A Steakhouse to anyone and everyone!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. The quality of the food, the attention to detail, the impeccable service. I like going to Club A much more than Gallagher or Luger. The owner, Bruno, is sometimes there. He's a really nice guy. If you want great steak, you can't go wrong with Club A.

Really nice place. If you are in for a romantic dinner you should seat on the second floor, if you are in for business dinner than stay on the first floor. Good service, maybe a little too pushy on the wine. Good over all food, sides are completely under seasoned, like no salt in them at all??? Fish was good, I would not recommend steak medium well, it was like a rock, get a medium instead.

We shared T bone for 2 people, chef even could cook half is medium and other is medium rare. The owner is super nice, he greeted us and showed us his lovely family gallery near the front door. 40 years old restaurant with lots of memories and histories. The manager is friendly too. And their dessert is amazing, taste not too sweet, baked like home made. Best of best. You are never ever disappointed

This place was outstanding. I was looking for a really nice dry aged steak and I found it. Though it doesn't appear on the menu I ordered the porterhouse for one. The menu only shows porterhouse for two or more. They bring you out a heated dinner plate and then serve your steak table-side on a sizzling platter. Very cool touch. I was also treated to a complimentary taster of their mushroom ravioli in between my appetizer and main course. Dessert was also on the house. This was just a product of over the top guest service. I had nothing but compliments for the manager when he came by my table. The atmosphere is dim and quiet with nice music playing softly in the background. It would be very romantic for a date. Mario was my server and he was fantastic as well. I only have three minor critiques I noticed...1. I was offered tap water when I sat down. I have a real adversity to the term "tap water" at a restaurant of this caliber. Filtered or still water would have been a better word choice. 2. One of the waiters carries his wine opener in the waist of his pants. Looked very tacky and I wouldn't want to have my bottle of wine opened with an opener that's been down the backside of his pants. 3. They had a great wine list but did not offer a Zinfandel by the glass. That being said, none of that could put a damper on a fabulous meal I had here. Thank you to the staff for such a wonderful meal.

Best Restaurant in New York! What a wonderful place to eat!! I've been so lucky to eat at some of New York's best restaurants. Tonight was a great way to end my trip. The service was EXCELLENT! The waiter was well knowledgeable of the menu and helped us pick the perfect steak. We got the Porterhouse for 2. It was delicious! It came sizzling to the table. We had the fingerling potatoes which were nice and crunchy. Yum! Also the variety of bread they serve is good. It was my birthday so they brought us a delicious dessert. Also they took our picture and printed us a copy immediately. This place is definitely the place to come. The owner is very active and made sure he spoke to all the patrons. I highly recommend eating here!

The best Steakhouse we have ever been to! I took my boyfriend here for a beautiful birthday dinner and the service was beyond exceptional! From the moment we sat down until we left we were treated with respect and care. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant; with candles lit on each table and a single beautiful res rose. Our waitress was sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. While we waited on our dinner we were served complimentary ravioli sent from the chef himself which was thoughtful. We also had the manager of the Steakhouse himself check on us multiple times and also bring out the special dessert plate I requested to surprise my boyfriend. Not only did it stop there they also took our photo for us and printed it out for us! (will attach photo later on site) Everything was so thoughtful and made the night for us PERFECT! We will be back again!

This is a beautiful restaurant with terrific service. However, the food just wasn't very good. I really wanted to like the food because everything else was so nice. The crab cake was inedible. It must have been made with canned crab. It tasted rancid. The steak was under-seasoned. The sides (mac and cheese and potato puree) were the highlights of the meal. They were actually pretty good. They did provide a complementary dessert because it was my daughter's birthday, but even the dessert was just mediocre.

We got there and the whole place was very fancy and elegant. The staff was very courteous and happy to assist us to the table. The smell in the air was amazing. Our waiter was very kind and friendly. We ordered Calamari Fritti as an appetizer with some drinks. It came fast and hot. It was delicious. Everyone seemed to love their food. I got the New York strip cooked medium rare. The cooking staff cooked it just to my specifications. The whole meal was amazing and the staff could not have been friendlier. It was a little expensive but worth it. We were not rushed out of our seats after. I would recommend this place!
