My wife and I flew up to NYC this past weekend and had an early dinner at Daniel. It was her birthday and our anniversary celebration. The best dining experience, food, and service we have ever received. We lived in NYC a few years ago and always wanted to come here but never got the chance. I'm glad we finally made it happen and it lived up (and more) to our expectations of one of the worlds top restaurants. We had to catch a show and they were very accommodating to our schedule. Each dish was amazing, perfectly timed and we finished with time to spare. I greatly enjoyed the wine pairing as well. Amazing staff. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a "wow" dining experience. Thank you!

My two lady friends and I have been to Daniel's twice. Once just for cocktails and the other time for dinner. Each experience was exceptional without a doubt. We were treated like royalty from the moment we entered into the establishment. Of all the restaurants I've patronized in New York, Daniel is by far the exception. No matter who you are, each person is treated magnificently. I cannot say that about a lot of well known restaurants in New York.

Service is amazing, they have a special treat for birthday occasions. The food, experience — everything was fabulous. I got the vegetarian tasting menu; I never knew vegetables could be that delicious!

Daniel is a fantastic chef. I had the lapin and it was about as good as it gets. The restaurant is quite expensive but I think Daniel is one of the best restaurants in NYC. The course menu is my personal favorite. The flavors are great, and the staff is super nice.

An excellent 2 Michelin star restaurant. Daniel is a French cook that makes the food and his dishes come to life. Staff working in the restaurant comes from all over the world, an impressive lineup of waiters and waitresses. Make sure to discover and enjoy one of the best New York restaurants if only you have the possibility. Next time in New York and in search of 1 extraordinary thing book a dinner at Daniel. Last sitting at around 21:30.

Daniel is as much an experience as it is a restaurant. This was some of the best food I've ever had. They have either the 4 course or 7 course menus. We had the 4 course and each dish was exceptional. Even the bread and butter we got at the beginning was special. We also had so much dessert that we couldn't eat all though I tried. I am not a wine connoisseur, but they have a huge selection of fancy wines. I had a glass of reisling and it was great. It was our anniversary and we received souvenir menus with our orders printed, a very nice touch. The staff top to bottom was exceptional and were kind enough to take photos for us and even offered to call us a cab. All in all as close to a perfect dining experience you can get. Dinner took about 3 hours (it did not seem that long) and jackets are required for gents. Reservations are a must, they book them about 3 months in advance.

Wow. A total 5-star ⭐️experience. I’ve been lucky enough to celebrate my birthday 🎂here twice in the past 7 years and it does not disappoint. The brioche bread 🥐🥖in the bread basket, topped with soft butter melts in your mouth and the chef’s selections for his amuse bouche 🍆🧀are delicious, seasonal and creative! The wine list 🍷is excellent and the staff could not be nicer! It is such a special place for an upscale night on the town🥂! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Got the chefs tasting menu was amazing. The deep fried soft shell crab was spectacular, the rainbow trout was cooked to perfection. Best fish I've ever had. The only downfall was the chairs. They were too low for an adult, so my knees were bent at an uncomfortable angle.

An incredible experience. My waiter guided me through a fixed price menu so well! I just asked him to surprise me and he did not dissapoint! Is it pricey? Yes, for sure. Is it worth it? For an unforgettable, once in a lifetime night, you bet. After the meal I asked the waiter if I could see the kitchen. I was escorted to the kitchen where I was given a tour and was able to talk to the head of service for a few minutes about how the space operates. I'll never forget my experience here.

Daniel is new my favorite place to eat in the entire world. We had the 4 course meal, the 4th course was dessert. Everything we ate was delicious. Even the butter was the best butter I have ever tasted. Be warned, it is very pricey but eating there is more than a meal. They answer every question about the food in the menu and the staff is VERY knowledgeable about where the food comes from, they ingredients and even how the animals are raised. You then choose each course. While waiting for the first meal, they come around and offer various foods such as bread and the most delicious butter I ever ate. They bring other foods like smoked salmon, goat cheese on cracker and more. They take the time to explain the ingredients and how the flavors mix. They do this for 4 courses. By the time you finish, you've been there for 3 to 4 hours. My recommendation is to treat a meal at Daniel as a dinner and a show. When you do that, the meal is more affordable. Be prepared to pay $100-$200/person which is what a meal and a football game would cost.
