Superb service, presentation and delicious food. It's obvious why this is a landmark restaurant for so long. A go to spot for closing an important business deal or impressing someone. They also have a nice bar area next to the restaurant.

The food here is super delicious and the staff is very nice. My family and I had rib eyes with creamed spinach, sauteed mushrooms, several martinis and rum + cokes, and just a fantastic time. Will definitely come here again.

We had a great lunch. We had just returned from visiting the statue of liberty and were looking for a restaurant to have lunch. When we entered, i felt inappropriately dressed in shorts. The dining room was very elegant. The hostess told us that shirts were not allowed in the dining room but got us a table in the bar with the same menu. The steak was divine. The starters were fresh and tasty. I would certainly recommend it.

One of the best steaks I've ever eaten. Perfectly charred and cooked to my taste. A little pricey for me, but worth it. The Delmonico potatoes and baked Alaska are delicious as well. No picture of the potatoes, but the top layer is crunchy, and I love crunchy. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a date night. There is also a bar to the side by the restrooms.

Had a great experience. Went there for a vendor dinner and we had solid, friendly service. Started with vodka martinis, and the Seafood Chateau for an appetizer. Mix of lobster, lump crab, shrimp, raw oysters and clams. Huge portions even for 4 big eaters. Next we switched to wine and had the Delmonico steak and tomahawk for two. Perfectly cooked med rare. Barley finished but we did. For sides the Mac and cheese, spinach and brussel sprouts. Okay we're pigs but this was a great meal.

There is no question why Delmonico's is a classic, and the original fine dining restaurant. This spot is quite literallt the classiest spot you could eat at. The service is perfect (with servers who are incredibly approachable.). They're also nice about allowing you to order exactly what you want and their recommendations are stellar. When we went, we ordered the Porterhouse for Two (x2) + Delmonico Steak. There were six of us and this definitely was enough to feed us twice over. Make your way to one of the best steakhouses in town!

They have a welcoming staff. The place gives off an upscale feel but it's business casual. So dont worry about walking in with sneakers. In new york its fashionable and sophisticated! I was here for restaurant week. Portion size is very reasonable. The lobster soup was flavored appropriately and textured to my liking. The classic steak, cooked to a perfect med rare and seasoned well. My mistake was not trying their sauces. Amazingly last were the cheese cake and i believe it was the chocolate moose paired with a cappuccino. Fantastic!!!

Came for Valentine's day week my girlfriend. We came down to New York to spend the weekend. This restaurant was highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The steak is one is the best I've ever had. I took the Delmonico potatoes as a side dish and it was also amazing. The service was great from beginning to end. There's nothing bad to say about this place.
