I love good food. This is good food. So good! Actually GREAT! if I lived in NY I would eat here at least twice a week. Everything we tried was AMAZING. The service is beyond anything I have ever experienced. Everyone who works there loves that you are there and treats you like family. I will return every time I am back in the city. Thank you Joe, Derek and Anthony!! You might see us for a 3rd time before we go home!

Old-school authentic American Italian. This is where you go when - like me - you've been away a while and you need your fix. Staff are old pros and exceptionally welcoming. Leave room for that NYC cheesecake...

If you want authentic italian food and experience definitely this ia the place to go too. The owner, the waiters and all the staff make your experience as comfortable and cozy as possible. And the food is just awesome! I tried the peso and it was one of the beat ones that I had! I will be going back there soon, raviolis looked tempting too!!!

We went there on a whim thinking an Italian restaurant in China Town was odd. Joe welcomed us in like family and talked and joked with us all evening. Our waiters were great. They had great suggestions. The food was amazing. Cooked from scratch and customized for us without any fuss. We ended up taking a friend back the next night and had an even better experience. Just can't say enough. Two great evenings. The cannoli was sent from heaven.

One of the classics in the city. Forlini's has fantastic service but it gets lost because of how long it's been here and where it's located. Location is a little bit away from "Little Italy," the only Italian space South of Canal. Food is plentiful and tasty. They have daily specials so don't skip the special menu. Lots of good Italian choices and very filling portions.

Great restaurant with staff who care about you. The food is really good and didn't need to add any salt or anything to their dishes. The dishes come out very fast too. I have been there a few times when visiting the City and I had great experiences all of the times I went. I would go back next time I'm down in Little Italy.

Quaint restaurant with vintage decor serving your typical Italian fare. We called an hour in advance for a late lunch reservation and were seated pretty quickly after we arrived. The people working here were welcoming but our server was really sloppy and could really be trained to wait tables with finesse. The place is cramped with too many tables and was almost filled to capacity when we arrived so the noise level was quite intolerable. It did quiet down when most of the groups before us started leaving.

The owner Derek was very personable and fun. He took the time to share some of his family owned business history with us. The veal cardinalu and their signature pasta dish panserotti piacentina were both delicious. Arguably The best meal my friend and I have ever had.

Stumbled on this restaurant after some business downtown. The food was delicious! Service was friendly and the owner even told us some of the history. A terrific find.
