Small quaint place. Pretty good food. The young man taking care of the place was hustling hard! He did great. My medium burger was pretty much rare. Order accordingly. Shake was good though.

Awesome burgers in Hell's Kitchen. Can't remember the name of the one I had, but there were more than enough toppings and flavor to boot. Fries were excellent, and the server was nice. He seemed a bit rushed, as he was the only one working the front but its a small joint so it wasn't bad service. I can't speak for locals, but for anyone visiting the city, eating here at least once is a must.

We've been to both locations of this Burger restaurant and the experience is pretty much the same, right down to the decor and long thin restaurant interior. The tables are very cramped due to the thinness but there are a few seats outside and at the bar. I hadn't been to the UWS restaurant in awhile, since moving away from the neighbourhood, so I was surprised to see the menu had been revamped. It was much less confusing in the options available. Previously, it was 2 pages of burger variations. It's now down to one page with a choice of about a dozen burgers, with the option to decide your own fillings. I think this is much easier and allows people to pick much quicker. Regardless of the change, the burgers are just as good as I remember and the fries are super crispy, better than I remember. Plus the fries (or salad, should you choose) come included with your burger unlike a lot of rip-off joints that make you pay extra for fries. Not too busy when we got there on an early Sunday evening, but started filling up fast before we left. Wasn't too loud consequently and the staff were nice and efficient. Very useful to know its near the theatre district, starred for future reference!

Small little hole in the wall burger and shakes joint, but totally worth it. The iron skillet Mac and cheese is easily the best Mac and cheese I have ever had and you can get your burgers on multiple types of bread. Shakes are pretty standard, but the burgers were amazing. Fast and extremely friendly service. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good NYC burger.

Great burger spot. My friend got the Napalm burger and I got the Bourbon Street burger. The Napalm lives up to its name so be careful if you choose that one. The Bourbon Street is more of a slow burner so it's manageable. Both tasted really good, were cooked well, and were not too salty. Get the malted black and white shake. One of the best milkshakes I've had in a long time! Definitely headed back here soon.

Great burgers! I had the beef Tejano, very flavorful and would definitely order it again. Do the parm truffle fired and the shakes are great - not too sweet but a great treat! Enjoy!

Visiting from the UK. Checked out a few blogs online of where to get a decent burger. Island Burgers came up often and was only a short walk from where I was staying (Hell's Kitchen) Plus, we looking for an independent place rather than a chain so ticked all the boxes. Friendly staff and really quick service despite being busy on the night. Burger itself was great! Came with toasted bread opposed to a bun which was a new one for me but it didn't detract from the taste. Cooked medium (the correct way for any burger 😉) a good helping of cheese and accompaniments. Fries were amazing - possibly the best I'd had during my visit. Overall, a great meal and a great, friendly atmosphere. Would recommend!

Brought my husband here for our anniversary because he loves burgers and this place is in our neighbourhood and has great reviews. It definitely didn't disappoint! The burgers were delicious and we shared a basket of sweet potato fries. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food, too. The pic is what I ordered - the Sam I Am with a turkey patty.

One of the first to do creative mixtures of toppings on burgers--you can choose one of theirs (like the decadent "Frog," featuring Boursin, bacon & onion) or customize your own out of 60+ ingredients. A bunch o' bun selections too. Shakes, on the other hand, are plain vanilla (and chocolate, strawberry)-flavored, but rich & malted. A beautiful place for your burger fix.

I ordered delivery from here. After waiting an hour, they forgot half the items I'd paid for, the food was cold, the buns were soggy. When we called to have them bring the food they forgot, they said it'd be here in 10-15 minutes, it took 40 minutes and the rest of our food was freezing by that point. Wouldn't eat here again. It wasn't worth the wait either
