First Michelin restaurant experience it was fantastic. I would give the food 4 stars, tried a lot of things that I have never had and turned out great but it's hard to move outside the normal palate. The stand out feature was the server, Roger! Made us feel very welcome as my girlfriend was fairly uncomfortable in such a formal setting for lunch. But trust me you need to save room for dessert!! Will go back again! Also try the house made soda s!

In a word, I found this place to be silly. Lights hung so low you bang your head on them getting in and out of your seat, tightly packed tables causing the wait staff to tip toe around like they are in a China shop because there is no room to work. It was actually comical watching them. Dropping things I am sure is a daily occurrence - it happened twice in the 90 minutes we were there. Loud. As for the food, weird. Expensive lobster tails with overly salted cafeteria French fries and a salmon dish with WAY too many combinations of flavors. The best part is that I went there with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. He is gluten free. At the end of our meal, to wish us well, they brought out two complimentary wheat-filled cupcakes. Thanks. All for just under $200!

We went here for restaurant week! Cocktails were delicious especially the cucumber martini! Everything from the appetizers to dessert was just pure bliss. I had the watermelon goat cheese for appetizer it was great!! Dessert was to die for! Service was good and the experience was overall amazing

Hands down the greatest restaurant experience of my life so far. And when I say experience, that's truly what Jean-Georges is, an experience. First, and most importantly, every dish I had was the greatest thing I've ever eaten. The portions seem small, but they know what they are doing. By the end of the meal, you will be full. A good full, not overly stuffed. The service is exceptional. They cater to each person individually based on your preferences. I ordered some things I wasn't familiar with and the staff gave excellent descriptions of the meal. And when I told them I don't like a lot of spice they made sure the chef knew to make it slightly more mild than usual. It's very expensive $200/person if you don't get alcohol. The wines are delicious though, so figure on getting a bottle or two. Cheapest wines were ~60/bottle but many we're in the hundreds. No matter what you spend here, it's worth every penny.

Attentive server, beautifully plated dishes, a bright welcoming dining hall, and and most of all, deliciously put together meal. Jean Georges' flagship restaurant has been on the New York Times 4 star list for a pretty long time and its very well deserved. One of the best places to splurge in Manhattan, there will be no regrets coming here. Every course from start to finish was well crafted, and we left with a sense of money well spent. We will be back the next time we're in NYC.

Stellar. Fantastic. A perfect meal. The staff was excellent. The courses were delectable. So delicious. Spicy French food for a special night. When the entire table stops talking to eat you know the food is grand. We had the full spring tasting menue. Some guys did not like the surprise liquor infused deserts but that can be forgiven when you dine in heaven.

One of my favorite in New York City. A go to spot when I have guests from out of town. Impressive inside out and food is always amazing. The service is what got me sold very time. Jean Georges never disappoints.

Been there last year, had a gastronomically fantastic time. Wine, appetizers, entre and dessert were all top quality AND a great value. They know how to do it right. Forgive me but don't quite remember what i had since that was a year a go but have been meaning to write this review and just getting around to it.

A tried and true NYC favorite of mine. The sweet spot is coming for lunch. It's beautiful inside the dining room, especially on a clear day. The natural light that filters through is unbeatable. I am not a foodie so I won't comment on the supposed deterioration in quality. All I know is that I'm never in a bad mood after lunch at JG.

One of my first Michelin star restaurants here in NYC! Great place and nice ambiance! The food is awesome, quite expensive but it’s beautiful display with exquisite taste! Love the service, very professional and friendly. We tried the sample menu and it’s awesome. We saw Sting here, but didn’t have the heart to ask for a selfie ;)
