One of my favorite lunch places! Great Italian sandwiches, all of the ingredients are fresh and almost as good as Italy.

I liked the restaurant, the concept, the location, the whole location, from the time I arrived until I left, I felt in Italy, the attention is very good, sometimes they took a while but time compensated for the kindness of the people, the paninis incredible, very fresh, the best thing is that you can visit the restaurant for breakfast lunch or snack, I really recommend it, the only thing I do not like is that its menu is not so wide, it would be nice to include more variety, but of rest in attention and quality, everything very well. The other thing that I could add that I did not like much is the space, it's something small for the amount of people that go, and it tends to be uncomfortable waiting at the time of purchase, but really the food is very good, with authentic flavor Italian, I would recommend it, and yes, I would go again.

Maybe the best Italian sandwich I've ever had, enough said. But I will go on, the meat, cheese, bread just everything is super fresh and made in house. The sandwiches are absolutely massive in size, can easily be split or saved for a second meal. Their signature sandwich, the "Pisillo", is always my go to but I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu they offer.

In 2018, what kind of business only accepts cash? Ordered the Pisillo and was disappointed entirely. The ingredients seemed fresh(except the stale ciabatta bread) but fresh doesn't equal tasty. There's nothing at all special about this place. The interior is tiny and dirty and I can't understand why this place is rated so high. Pros: You get a good sized sandwich. But why would you want a good sized sandwich if it doesn't taste good?

My friend loves this place so I've been a few times. The ingredients might be imported but this isnt authentic at all. Firstly they seemed to only have subs or baguettes, nothing I recognize and Paninis. Secondly they are way too large, so unless you're sharing you'll probably pay too much then throw some out. Finally I had American style layers and layers of cheap ham in mine which really wasn't that nice. If you like typical NY style deli sandwich you'll like this place, otherwise it isn't really worth waiting in line.

Huge sandwiches in FiDi. Some waiting but nothing bad. Rash sandwich will run you $13+ but it’s two meals so make sure you don’t over order. Everyone splits them! All the ingredients are from Italy which is cool. That said, Italians don’t tend to eat huge piles of prosciutto on a sandwich so while Pisillo’s intentions are good this place seems a bit misguided to me. The place is small but the good news is that ty can eat next door at the cafe if you want or call ahead and get a sandwich to good. I’d love to seem a big sandwich here with a lighter option (turkey, etc) like a more classic Little Italy place and not trying to reinvent the wheel.

Real authentic Italian place! I just had coffee and cookies but it was lovely, I'll be sure to go back again.

Prices range from 11 - 15$ for a sandwiches. These are huge though, you can definitely share one with two people. Arizona can for size comparison. Orders are done quickly - under 10 minutes including ordering.

One of my favorite sandwich places in all of New York. Ranging from $12-15, the wide variety of choices can be a bit overwhelming. Seemingly expensive, the 1.5 ft long, borderline 2 lb sandwiches (no really, the first thing everyone does is say wow these are hefty) sandwiches can feed up to three people. Super fresh ingredients and made to order, with your selection of bread, served in foil and a paper bag. As authentic as it gets and something you crave. Small shop and counter with an attached (separate entrance) Italian bakery. Cash only - ATM inside should you not know or forget.
