Amazing place. Really good meats and sides (specially the sides). Service is something near perfection. They also have very special and good drinks. Of course you need to pay the price! That place is really expensive and that's the only drawback I can remember about them.

Had my birthday here and what a treat! Love, love this steakhouse! Environment is perfect for date night. I think we sat in the crappy seat of the house (outside the kitchen), but it was fine. We shared the Porterhouse Steak for Two and did not think we could finish it, but there’s always room for a 40 oz delicious steak! Tender, moist, tasty, perfect. Must order their signature side, the corn creme brûlée! Could eat that all day. We had one of their specials. Was a bit skeptical at first, but the potato skins were outstanding! If it’s on the menu, order the loaded potato skins with smoked salmon, white fish, dill sauce and caviar. Amazing. Just when we thought it was over, the wonderful staff brought me a special dessert, smoked marshmallow ice cream. O.M.G. All I have to say is, if you’re lucky enough to celebrate a special occasion here, you’ll be floored. Thank you Quality Meats for the special birthday dessert and memorable meal! Will definitely come back for more!

I went here for my birthday lunch and I will definitely go again. The food is marvelous. The drinks are superb. It is definitely one of the very best steakhouses in New York City. The decor, the service and the everything is top quality. Do not miss this truly wonderful place. I'll be back for sure!!!

Best steak i've ever had. Not only was the steak the best I've ever had, the venue itself is magnificent. A true beauty. I fell in love when I found it on Open Table, and then I fell even harder when I entered into the space itself upon arriving. We had the Filet Mignon and the quality potato and they were both phenomenal. Recommend to anyone looking for the perfect date night or anniversary spot.

What a wonderful culinary experience. From the amazing appetizers to a fantastic steak the meal and service was superb. Topped off with an extensive wine list, made for a great time

Quality Meats was a mixed bag, partly due to how hyped up it was from my friends, but also because it wasn't good. The peanut butter, jalapeno and bacon appetizer was decent at best (but to be fair, American bacon sucks in general). The farmers salad was good, but too much dressing, and the crispy potatoes had some that were very oily, and other pieces that were just crisp (like potatoe chips). For the main course, we got two of the Aged Rib Steak / Tomahawks as recommended by the waiter. One of them was a really good piece of meat, perfectly cooked, and delicious. Unfortunately, the other was extremely fatty and gristley, and largely inedible (unless you're the type that loves very fatty steak). The waiter only came back once, when he remembered that he forgot my glass of wine, so I didn't have an opportunity to tell him about the bad steak until when he finally came back to check on us about 40 minutes later. Given the bad steak, he brought out ice cream on the house while we were looking at the dessert menus, but neither of us wanted ice cream and, so we wouldn't be rude, this meant we felt both wasteful (because we didn't eat the dessert) AND awkward enough that we couldn't go ahead and order the dessert we actually wanted. At the end of the meal he ultimately took the bad steak off the bill and asked us to give them another chance. I'll definitely consider going back and getting a different cut, but in a city with so many amazing food options, it's hard to justify going back to one that let you down, even if it generally gets amazing ratings.

Amazing steak! Cooked and presented perfectly. Dominic was such a great server. His recommendation were on point for both food and wine/drink pairings. Worth the price. Every bite of filet was melt in your mouth.

Quality Meats has, well, high quality food. Steaks are delicious and correctly cooked. They come with the right amount of black pepper. Potatoes are yummy. All the wines we had were quite good. Service is very good. Waiters are knowledgeable and helpful about both food and wine. Decor and atmosphere are a rustic style with brick, wood and some stone. It works. Quality Meats gets 4 stars instead of 5 because, like most Manhattan restaurants, tables are crowded together and prices are high.

We had a great dining experience at quality meats and Michael did a fantastic job making us feel good. Our Butcher's Cut Rib Eye for two came first well done although we ordered medium rare. Right away it was taken back and on the second try it came rare. We didn't say anything but Michael saw the mistake ad took care of it. On the third time a perfect steak came to our table. Although those mistakes happen the way the server and manager handled the situation was perfect. A bottle of wine was competed and a complimentary dessert provided.

Ate here for lunch. Rib eye. Perfectly cooked to medium rare. Fantastic taste, well aged. Side of creamed spinach - it was fine. Service was good, attentive but was mindful of my business meeting. Location is tucked away just a block away from the bustle of mid-town Carnegie Hall intersection.
