Some of the best pizza I've ever had. Bar seats are a great option. Bar staff are attentive and friendly. You'll get a slice or two and then you'll want a whole pie.

My boyfriend and I had the tie-dye Pizza and it was great. The crust was so thin, flaky and yummy. On the other half we added broccoli rabe, roasted garlic and red chili's but felt like it took away from the amazing vodka cream base. I would def come back for the tie- dye again. Richie our waiter was great, helpful and sweet.

Hype? What hype? This place is a hype? I had no idea... A friend of mine found this place during his search for some amazing pizza. We made our way over here after spending several hours at the Whitney Museum. Rubirosa came highly recommended. I'm so glad that we followed through and made it here. This restaurant is a bit dark, even during the day. Not a whole lot of sunlight through the windows. We had lunch here on a Tuesday, but still busy in the late afternoon. Our large half and half pizza came with 8 slices. We had the Tie-Dye (Vodka/Tomato/Pesto/Fresh Mozzarella) and Rubirosa Supreme (Tomato/Mozzarella/Pepperoni/Mini Meatball/Roasted Garlic). Absolutely amazingly delicious pizza. I was a little more in love with the Rubirosa Supreme. So Good! I especially loved the super thin and crispy crust. Their pizzas are made to perfection. Service was great. Seated as soon as we walked in. Our server brought our waters and continuously brought refills throughout our meal. Pizza came not long after ordering. I'm not sure how long the wait was, but it didn't feel long at all. This place is so yummy. I want to go back already!

Rubirosa is extremely in-demand, so the open reservations on Resy—if there are any—will likely dictate when you can dine. The bar is even reserved. I think it’s excellent, but I wouldn’t wait outside for hours, as some people do, on the chance that someone doesn’t show up for their reservation. The Rubirosa salad is fantastic as-is the tie-die pizza. A large pizza and salad is easily split by four. Enjoy!

Real really delicious. The pizza is definitely among the best in the city. Of course, everyone has their favorite and I'm not saying this is the absolute best. However, you will not be disappointed in any way. Also, the fresh pasta dishes are amazing. WOW. Did we have a super delicious meal.

A very cozy place. Came here for the classic pizza. It was delicious, although a bit pricey. The service was wonderul as well. Its a nice place to eat with friends or family. I would definitely bring my friends here if I ever come back around the area.

We ordered two large pizzas and a salad from Rubirosa. I'll keep it short and sweet; the salad was perfectly nice. The pizza, unfortunately was not. Burnt, cold, cheese not melted, too much sauce, nothing really positive to say. Skip this place (and the hefty price tag), go anywhere else and enjoy.

Very authentic Italian. Great pizza! We ordered several different dishes and we were never disappointed. The quality of cuisine is a 10/10. Community seating in some areas (which just adds to the experience) but also has a neat bar area for those who like to belly up and hang with a cool bar tender. Reservations were a little bit of a struggle, so make sure you get there early enough to grab a seat. Exceptional service on all levels

Pizza was nice and big and thin but not a stand out in our opinion, they got our order wrong and then health inspector came in and kitchen closed for 30 minutes so they couldn’t correct the order. Stacker plate fell because it was half off the table and lost 1/3 of the pizza and was not compensated at all. Staff are great and pizza is nice but not worth the hype.. make sure you book in advance too! Make sure you get the vodka pizza with the pesto... was the best of them all!!
