Great atmosphere and cool decor. The live music is a nice touch. The good news stops there however. Portions were small for food that seemed to be more about presentation than taste. The waiter was extraordinarily rude and wouldn't fill up drinks and gave off a bad attitude for every reason. The host treated the group like children. Overall not as impressed as I expected.

Service was wonderful. All were very attentive with us. Our water glasses were never empty. It was a bit of a wait to sit, even with a reservation, roughly 20 minutes but it was worth it at the end. Food was delicious, desserts were wonderful. Coconut mojito was great. Would definitely recommend but be prepared to spend a few dollars

Food is always great at Victor’s Cafe. I have dined there hundreds of times with family and friends from different corners of the world when they come to visit. However, today I walked in with my wife, three little girls and my Service Dog and as we were waiting to be seated, this woman that was dressed as if she just came out of a two hour aerobics session walked past me and just stared at me, the dog and my family from head to toes as if we were from another planet. She continued walking outside and then walked back in starring once again. She was obviously bothered by my service animal. This attitude bothered me so much that I told her “he’s a service dog”, to which she replied “well, if he’s a service dog you should be carrying him instead of having him on a leash”. [If this were true, I wonder how people with a German Shepherd for a service dog would handle themselves whenever they go to dine out.] Anyhow, when my wife started to tell her that she was wrong and explain the ADA federal law to her, the woman’s response was (with an attitude) “Are you even from here?” Needless to say this ticked us greatly but trying to maintain our composure we told her where we were from but also let her know that she should get acquainted with the law regarding service animals and especially to treat such customers no less favorable that any other. Without saying another word she got on her cellphone and walked inside of the kitchen. It was then that I asked the host who this “aerobics instructor” was and to my surprise he said that she was the owner. Well, although at that point we felt like leaving the place, we decided to be the better persons and stayed to dine. I just feel that, as a business owners both myself and my wife, there are certain unspoken rules that all business owners should abide by, starting from business etiquette, dress code to customer relations and empathy.

The location of the restaurant was perfect - right down the road from the theater we went to. Food was amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly. Portion sizes were good, not too big. Meals do not come with side dishes, you have to order separately. Dessert was delish: chocolate lava cake was warm and gooey! Atmosphere was loud and a little crowded but it was a Saturday evening. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and special

The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, the waitstaff very patient with our large group (7) and the food was delicious and worth the prices (except, the iced tea was small and not worth 3.50 to me). I had one of the signature dishes, the slow roasted pork, but we all shared samples with each other. the plantain balls, the yucca dish, the oxtail, to name a few, were very delightful to taste. We all agreed that we will return to Victor's Cafe to enjoy more dishes. The surprising thing to me was the attendant in the restroom. I believe I was underdressed after seeing that, but I never once felt shunned for wearing jeans and a t-shirt.

Great food. Decent prices. Proportions are in-between. Depends how you are use to eating. I am use to eating big for dinner,so when I get less than what I am use to eating seems small, but could be reasonable size of food in restaurants. Check it out for yourself. Staff was polite and attentive.

This place was fantastic. We had a small team of volunteers helping us, so as a treat we brought them all here. The food was better than we imagined. Definitely try the lava cake for desert. We ordered it a second time it was so good.

Great Cuban restaurant that is a treat for special occasions. It's a bit on the pricey side, but appetizer, main dishes, desserts, and drinks were all good portions, well made, and very satisfying. Can be a tight fit for those in scooters and wheelchairs, but the staff are very accommodating. Right in Times Square and near hotels.

Amazing food in a great location but comes at a price. I loved it and would definitely go back. A great introduction to Cuban cuisine. Friendly service and great wine. The setting allows you to have a good time as a group or as an intimate romantic night.

Delicious food. Service was friendly but not spectacular. I love the coat room. It was very easy to make reservation. Drinks were yummy, too.
