Make no mistake — this is as close to the falls as anyone wants to be. The sound is like thunder and the view is breathtaking. Stand back, or in this case stand just close enough to feel the power. It’s exhilarating. After Niagara Falls, continue on the road back to New York City, making a stop to shop at the Crossings Premium Outlets, one of the largest outlet malls in the US with 100 name-brand stores. Finally, arrive back at Gray Line New York in the evening.

The tour was wonderful. Comfort Inn was an amazing hotel stay on the US side of Niagara. Having completed the New York Marathon a couple of days before, this was an awesome trip to recover and get some breathtaking recovery runs along the Niagara. BUT I DO HAVE A COMPLAINT TO THE ORGANIZERS. The main highlight of the tour was viewing both the US and Canadian sides of the Niagara and that was the only reason I booked this tour. It was not explicit that we will not be able to cross over to the Canada side - the instructions merely stated that we would be booked a hotel on the US side, which I understood to mean that I will be taken to the Canadian during the day not sure if that is my ignorance OR wordplay by the organizers. I went through with the tour with just a oral complain to the tour operator and specfically did not want spoil my precious time trying complain. Having said that, I had a great time and the tour guide was excellent. But for this blemish, I would have given a full 5 star - but it would remain only 4 star now, as I have to make it to the Canadian side again next time.

Really good trip. Driver and escorts were lovely and very helpful. The only criticism was that the hotel was dated. Although beds were clean and comfortable. Enjoyable trip. I would recommend it.

I'm really glad I took this tour. It was a long drive to Niagara but our tour guide was entertaining and informative. He had information about history, geography, topography of all the important points along our journey as well as Niagara Falls itself. The weather was extremely cold -13C chill factor, but it made for a beautiful Niagara experience. I loved the whole trip, seeing and learning about part of the US that wasn't in a city. The bus was very comfortable and the comfort stops well chosen.
