This is a tour I would highly recommend, very well organized but don't get caught like some of us. It had been snowing and had been on the double decker bus, cold and wet, but the bus for the tour is enclosed and heated.

Made seeing the beautiful Christmas lights easy to see. Be aware that you'll be walking for about 1 hour of the tour.

This tour is worth every dollar and really got us into the spirit of the holidays after travelling for 30 hours to get to NYC. Tour guide was exceptional pointing out many sights on the way out of Manhattan and throughout Brooklyn. Helped us to orientate ourselves a bit after only arriving in the city the night before. You are firstly taken on a drive to Bay Ridge in Brooklyn which has its own residential displays of Christmas lights and is a lot less crowed than Dyker Heights. The Christmas lights at Dyker Heights are sensational. Only downside is just how crazy busy it is. But it is well organised and controlled by the Police. Tour also stops under the Brooklyn Bridge where you can take in spectacular views of Manhattan and treat yourself to a nice hot chocolate before heading back to Midtown. Highly recommend this tour.

This was as OTT as one can get with Christmas Lights on mass. It needs to be seen to be believed and some homes are just beautiful bordering on magical.

First of, we hade an amazing guide and I can't believe I don't remember her name. The tour it self was amazing. It was a warm bus which was well needed during winter time. An awesome guide and a a blast once there. The trip to and from Dykes Heights will take at least 2 hours. Once there you only have about 40-60 minutes. I absolutely loved doing this! One of the best things to do in NY if you're there during christmas holidays.
