As described, was shown straight through using all the staff entrances avoiding any queues (although at the time of our visit queues were not a problem) but for the price was worth paying just incase and it added that VIP feel to our visit.

Highlights - Skip the line and visiting at sunset. We were delighted we booked Skip The Line tickets which were open all day so we weren't restricted to a time. We went late afternoon and stayed for sunset which was a very busy time and we were tired after a long day sightseeing so to literally skip a very, very long queue was so wonderful. My husband had been unexpectedly ill before our long planned trip so for him in particular skip the line was wonderful as I dont think he could have coped with the long queues. Empire State Building itself is iconic and we weren't disappointed with the whole experience and the views. The building inside is very American, like in the movies and the views are as wonderful as you would expect. People were polite in taking turns to take pics from the edge and there was a nice friendly atmosphere up there. I would definitely recommend sunset the views were much more spectacular in the dark.
