Fiddler on the Roof on Broadway

Brought back to Broadway by Tony-winning director Bartlett Sher, this fresh production of Fiddler on the Roof promises to dazzle audiences with a new vision of the theater classic, which first opened in 1964 and was once the longest-running Broadway musical.
Based on the book by Tony-winner Joseph Stein and the original stories of Sholom Aleichem, Fiddler tells the tale of Tevye, a Jewish milkman played by five-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein, and his five daughters. Set in Tsarist Russia on the eve of the Revolution, the story unfolds as the timeless traditions that define faith and family are tested.
While keeping to its original score and storyline, this Broadway revival brings new choreography from acclaimed Israeli-born artist Hofesh Shechter, inspired by the original choreography of Jerome Robbins. Enjoy music and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize–winners Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, including songs such as 'Tradition' and 'If I Were a Rich Man.'
