We really enjoyed this tour the first day on our trip to New York City. Our tour guide, Tyler, was absolutely great with so much history and information about the city. We learned so much and decided to return to some of the sites for a closer look. Well done!

Wonderful tour and wonderful tour guide, Tim. We had limited time in NYC. We wanted to make the best use of it so booked this tour for the first day, we weren't disappointed. As visitors we did have difficulty in finding the pick up location which was very obviously near Time Square but the address didn't say this, it would have been helpful if a local landmark was added to information. We were early but did loose a little time when we got lost so would be good to avoid that stress. The tour was a mini bus which we loved, it was a small group and easy to get on and off/in and out of places. Tim was very energetic and enthusiastic which really helped make the tour fun and lively. He was also very informative and approachable, he clearly enjoyed his work and was lovely with everyone. We started at the Time Square area at about 9am and drove all the way downtown, where we had lunch and afterwards took a ferry back uptown. We left the tour at the ferry terminal as we had tickets for a show and time was getting tight. On the way downtown Tim highlighted everything he could see at every opportunity with lots of back stories, we stopped to take pics and had a longer stop at 9/11 memorial. I would highly recommend this tour if you have limited time in NYC or on a first visit. It is a great overview, I would recommend to do it on the first day as we did as it was really helpful with orientation, getting your bearings and also we identified where we wanted to go back to, such as 9/11 memorial, we went back again another day to spend more time there. As with all the Viator tours we've done the tour guide makes the tour and we've never been disappointed. If you're familiar with a city as I would be with London you dont need a tour guide but if it's a first visit or you have limited time Viator tours are extremely helpful in making the best of your time available to see as much as possible, we love them.
