Our guide, Rachel, was awesome. If I were to change anything, it would be to spend less time at the Statue of Liberty in order to have more time at Ellis Island. Otherwise, really a great tour.

The best tour we have done and we travel a lot. Carla was very well informed and had gone out of her way to study facts and interesting stories that she brought to life through her theatrical background. Carla had even memorized several long quotes which she poetical read to us. Fantastc tour.

The tour started with embarking the ferry to go to Liberty Island. I do not recommend to bring much to prevent from using the lockers, they don't allow purses or backpacks. We went to the museum inside The Statue of Liberty, which includes the history, the different models of the Statue of Liberty, and the people who worked on the statue. The time of leisure at Liberty Island is about an hour if I am remembering correctly. For the best photo of yourself with The Statue of Liberty, don't bother taking a photo from the pedestal. After you visit the museum, leave the Statue of Liberty to get to the ground of Liberty Island, and take a photo from there. Ellis Island was inspiring to see, I love The Godfather reference, and the ferry departs Ellis Island every hour so can stay there as long as you like.
